Tell me about it, my mum was telling me that my eldest aunt on my dad's side was whinging that she only liked plain potatoes or chips, not covered in stuff, and that the cold beef wasn't cooked (I thought it was lovely, perfectly cooked rare breeds beef), and she didn't like OH's aunt, who funnily enough behaves the same way as my aunt!

And then she complained that she should have got the Krispy Kreme doughnuts for us, we were on Isle of Wight, and we had to go to Portsmouth to collect which didn't bother us as we had a look round Gunwharf Quays at the same time, then she complained that I didn't reply to any of her texts - I'm sorry but I don't like this particular aunt and all she wanted to do was muscle in on my wedding - by the time she'd text me OH and I had already done everything!

Then I found out from my sister that she upset my future BIL by taking his daughter away from him when she cried, he commented that he hadn't seen her all week (my sister, niece and mum had gone to IW for a weeks holiday), and he promptly got told 'well I never see her!'

    There's no pleasing some people!

But every other guest enjoyed themselves!
_ don't you wish that some people would releaise that you have alot to do so can't answer their texts all the time and the type of food they are fussy about isn't a primary concern. Also taking a your niece away from her dad probably caused more harm than good and maybe there's a reason why she never sees her.

I was so lucky with my wedding i dint have any demanding guests and it was a lovely and relaxed day, the only tweak to the wedding for a muslim friend of mine and his wife, who couldn't take part in the whisky toast, when I asked him, he simply said give us a shot of coke each and we will happily toast you.

Unfortunately I am inviting 2 children (who I know and like!) so couldn't tell her it was a blanket ban ;)

Sounds like I could have had it much worse hearing some stories though!

Then just tell her what you've just said here that you've never meet him and from my experience of kids I know they can find it quite scary being around people that they don't know.
