Thanks for the comments. I've tried a few lime shower gels, and while they do smell pleasantly of lime, none of them have the real ZINGY opal fruits smell of the original original source.

My favourite at the moment is Lynx "Recover".

Yes, it is Original Source; Sainsbury's and Tesco sell it. I think Tesco have it half price at the moment so £1.20 a bottle, or they did last time I went in! :)
I'm so sorry if you were enjoying this thread and mine is the last post!!

I've got a bottle of lime (and the chocolate mint one) open in the shower at the moment and hadn't noticed any difference... mind you I bulk stock up on showergels when they're on special so it could well be old batch, or it could just be me being utterly incoherrent on a morning...

Yes there may still be some of the old formula circulating (especially if you have had it for a while). The several I bought in March were a mixture of old and new.

We have been using the new ones to wash the dogs - its about all they are good for.

Oh, I loved the original, but I haven't had it in ages so I didn't notice that it's changed :(

I'm all over the black mint one at the mo. Love it.

This reminds me of when Lenor introduced a new formula for their Spring Awakening fabric softener. It basically meant to keep things smelling fresher for longer, or something. Anyway, if I rub my hand on my t-shirt it comes away smelling all 'flowery', and I don't like it. I preferred the old stuff.

I sent them an emailing moaning about it, they send me a small voucher for any P&G product. So it went towards a big bottle of Persil.

I still use Lenor Spring Awakening because it's the only fabric softener I like. You either put up with it, or find a new favorite product.

I think they've done the same with the Cussons Freshen Up shower gel that I use.

I thought it smelled different and it might explain why I've been getting some skin irritation. If they've changed to formula and are using cheaper ingredients I will have to find another product.
