You will get a follow-up email with a PDF attachment for the ticket. You can only get a travelcard at the box office.

I brought tickets online for the archery but it only gave me the option to pick up tickets, so I have to pay train fare to get my ticket and supposedly free travel card, its not free if I have had to pay to get it.:(

There is a new ticket office in St James Park, I went there to pick mine up, which was easier than Stratford which is a massive slog to get to and there were no queues. Yes I agree though that unless you can either pick up beforehand or go on the day it's not really free, and the travelcard is nonsense if you've already paid to get there.

Are you coming from outside of London into a mainline stn?

I received my PDF ticket about 16 hours later after receiving my ticket confirmation email. Dunno if that's because I purchased my tickets on the Sunday evening. HTH

My last one took 6 hours. It could be longer if they've released a large tranche and the systems are under pressure.
