I can second the mummy wrap game its really funny and cheap too, i also printed some skeleton's off cut up the head, body, arms and legs and played a game where you have to suck through a straw each part of the skeleton from one place to another to make up the skeleton. I also got a halloween tablecloth put it on the floor with sweets, gifts etc on and made a ring out of cardboard and when the kids threw the ring on the floor whatever sweets etc was inside the ring they got to keep. You could play pin the rib/leg/arm on the skeleton lol, when i did a party a few years ago the kids loved the messy games. I also bought a halloween bag put there name on them and then sent them off in the dark with a torch to find their bag, so that when they won games they had something to put the sweets or treats in.
Have fun.

We did a party last year and got most of my deccies from poundland, others I made myself after searching on crafty sites.
The mummy wrap game was ace, also did Brain Box - get a cardboard box and decorate, boil up a load of cheap spaghetti when cooled poor into a plasctic bag add a bit of water to make it a bit slimy, add some bags of sweets, I also added rubber balls, then kids sticks their hands in to find a treat. Was hysterical, even the parents had a go.0 -
Ok guys thought I would let you know how I am getting on,
So decorations are coming along, and as far as food I so far have on top of the usual crisps, sandwiches etc,
-Slime punch - Bowl of juice with mushed up jelly in it
-Various decorated cakes (pumpkins, !!!!!s etc)
-Apple eyes - My variation of candy apples to look like eyeballs (white chocolate and icings)
-Creepy Eggs - Boiled eggs, then crack the shells and add food colouring. Allow to dry before move shell
Haven't come up with much in the way of savoury snacks, but I guess if your a child a cucumber sandwich is terrifying
Also I have started coming up with a playlist for child-friendly halloween songs
- Casper the friendly ghost - Mack David & Jerry Livingston
- Monster Mash - Bobby Pickett
- Adams Family - Theme song
- Scooby Doo - Theme song
- Ghost Busters - Ray Parker Jr
- Witchcraft - Frank Sinatra
- Time Warp - Rocky Horror
- Super freak - Rick James
This list will no doubt keep growing!!
