Why oh why do i sell on eBay?

I KNEW this would come back and bite me on my behind....
Sold my phone (remember i was asking about postage)
Anyway, winning bidder from the UK. Phone sold for £58.29 and then £8P&P
Half an hour after the sale and ive had 5 emails from the winning bidder:
Email 1: Buyer doesnt want to pay for the delivery and is asking if the screen is cracked (even though in the listing it states it isnt cracked...)
Email 2: How fast is standard delivery - is it fast
Email 3: What else comes in the box, I need to know quick so I can Pay as fast as I can
Having logged on to ebay I sent a reply saying that postage is set, that the listing has all the details about what is included in the sale and that the screen is fine
Email 4: "I wanted you to just cooperate with for some time I will pay tommorow as I will put the Money into my account today"
Email 5: Buyer is demanding more pictures
I've replied saying if they were unhappy with the phone/postage etc then i will gladly cancel the bid and second chance it
Honestly - do people not read listings any more?! why bid on something if your then going to argue about postage and flipping pictures
Very tempted to tell them to go do one (short fuse today lol)
Rant over

Just be thankful you ar eusign special delivery , but don't forget to make a note of all the ID numbers.
This is also once instance where I would not rush out specially to post same day, but maybe wait a day before posting, as long as that fits in with your stated despatch time.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I've had 3 more emails - The last one says he is refusing to buy this item because IM being uncooperative!
Cheek!!!
Will report him as a NPB just to annoy him me thinks
Thanks for the advice tho!0 -
Genuine buyers would ask questions before they bid and before the listing ends, not after!
I suggest you just stick to your NPB guns and avoid further contact.
It would probably be worse if you entered into the silliness of providing extra photos and inventories of what's in the box, as the buyer may find they're out of excuses, then grudgingly pay and would then work on a scam to get a refund - and possibly keep the phone as well!!!"The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing.

Enjoy the unfair negative feedback that you will get in retaliation!0 -
I would happily take the neg to avoid a buyer like this.0

If the NPB case concludes with a NPB strike, won't the buyer not be able to leave feedback? Or, if the buyer does leave feedback, after the NPB case concludes, won't the OP be able to get the feedback struck out?0 -

As I always ask, what would you suggest then? I'm sure the OP will be happy to pay all the associated fees and lie down nicely so the buyer can walk all over her.
If you are that terrified of buyers retaliating, don't sell on ebay.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. The problem is you can't choose your buyers and from my perspective, this one is obviously simply refusing to pay and clutching at any unconvincing excuse.
So launching a NPB should prevent
1. the seller having to engage in the buyer's non-payment games
2. the seller losing out financially and allow selling fees to be reclaimed
3. the seller having to take a negative unless the buyer pays (which seems unlikely)."The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing.
