More insulation is it worth it

I had insulation done last year under some Government scheme.
On Saturday someone came round and said 50mm is not enough under a new scheme you can have 250mm
for £70 is it worth it?

I think you have your info wrong, maybe it was a 50mm top up to give the figure the gov scheme allowed then?, I don't know.
Check the gov website, I would have thought that if you were under the recommended level it would be free, I know they are still doing free installations.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
