Afternoon All
Had a busy day yesterday - work, then took my car to be inspected (it has started to rust around the wheel arches) It is going to be fixed by them under the 12 year anti-corrosion warranty so pleased about that, just have to wait till they say when. Then went home for a quick curry, village hall meeting and then to the airport to pick up a friend. The plane didn't get in till 11 so I am a little tired today!
Work today then the dreaded breast screening (not nice but not as bad as I thought) and then went for a swim - first time in about 6 months. Having a bit of a rest now till work again at 6.
Weather has been ok but looks like it may rain soon, washing drying on airers as I am fed up of playing hokey cokey with it on the line. House not too bad, I can't be bothered to do much anyway.
Take care. XX0 -
Afternoon all
It's turned out sunny now so WM has been on with bedding and clothes, now drying outside.
I've been out to shops for essentials but didn't bother stocking up my storecupboard, will save that for another day. I doubled up £5 of Tesco Clubcard vouchers and treated myself to a new foundation as my good one has almost run out. I've also washed dishes and cleaned kitchen.
Other than that I've just had a lazy daywatched crap tv and pottered in house. Think I'll make a curry later.

Evening all
We had a lovely time in Winchester yesterday & saw everything we wanted to. Today was the dreaded social services visit, hubby & I want to become foster carers, the visit lasted 2 & a half hours & now it's a case of wait & see.
The house is tidy apart from a pile of ironing, tomorrow we are going to Salisbury for more sightseeing.
Have a lovely evening everyone.
Hugs Hester

Had a fairly productive day, for me. Changed our bed and both littlies beds, hoovered all upstairs, cleaned landing and DS' windows, removed and packed away safety gate after over 5 years up (feels really weird and spacious now! :rotfl:), washed loads of !kea fleeces that smelled fusty, filled 3 black bags with garden rubbish and took them to the tip, plus 1 small bag of stuff to CS! :j
Have a good evening, folks.

Evening all,
Hospital with OH this morning for his INR test....result this afternoon means that he is back in on Friday morning, he really needs to cut down his drinking to get it sorted but what harm will a few glasses of wine do????
While out this am went to Lidl and bought loads of fruit and some lovely fennel, got some meat at local butcher's, remembered to collect medications and eventually got home around 12.30.
We had a huge salad with some nice brown bread and ate so much that we didn't bother with dinner....am going to have one of those new (to me) doughnut peaches before I head to bed.
Had a busier than usual evening, as friend of OH's called, had a phone call from a cousin for a chat, and DD4 called in for a bit. Really need to be in bed but have several things still to do.
Hugs to all who could do with one
