    OP wants to sell some CD's and a few movies and then bosh wants to throw up a £500 camera.

    Amazon are well within their right to review your account in my opinion until you have a track record.

    I understand your thinking but its garbage. Amazon openly let you list what you want. If it is such an issue to sell even a one 'pound item' then list an iPad for example they should ensure a new seller can only list certain things.

    Why not do this? Because they want to hold money that isn't theirs.

    I hear you as I think it a bit unorthodox for them to hold the money in situe for a fortnight

    True, I mean with the technology and ultra-skilled programmers they have at their disposal, limiting a new account to only list 'small value' items is a piece of cake. Clearly they want people to list expensive items so they can then step in and hold the money.
