Theres nowt wrong with the current piping but he seemed to imply it would be a waste of time to NOT repipe.

Just double checked with the new quote all inc VAT and powerflush.

Booked, £1300 cheaper than last quote, poweflush, the requested parts and the additional 2yr WB warranty. Sounds (almost too) good to me

Booked in and will update when finished.

I got back onto the guy who gave the first quote and tweaked the job a bit.

Chemical clean
Back boiler and fire removed

Digistat I can recommend the WB DC10RF
TRVs I'd go with the Drayton TRV4's
As for the filter I went with the Furnox TF1 as it seemed to get a good write up

My install is done, 2 days flat.
Couple fittings needed changed at the end as they hadn't taken properly.
Other than that everything I asked fro and everything I wanted done was done without quibble. For the cash very happy with the outcome.

The hot water is not HOT! the radiators warm up within minutes too
