No. And Yes (Bill Stickers will be prosecuted etc)One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

What you should do is copy certain PPCs add the words "warning, it is an offence for anyone but the driver to remove this notice".What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

I do that all the time. Would always advise a stranger or friend about this scam.
I have never put a sign next to theirs as you'd need permission from the landowner/occupier. Have been tempted to spray paint a sign or two but haven't as I am not into criminal damage of course.
Quite tempted to run off some signs to slap on top of any illegal clamping signs still up, come 1st October! I bet there will be loads of clamping signs still up, basically threatening a criminal offence. Can't be right!
But I do carry some small square notes which I slip behind any fake PCN I see on anyone's car in any Supermarket car park. It tells them the fake PCN is a scam, to ignore it as it's not a real parking ticket, not to pay or appeal but to come here or to pepipoo forums.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I wonder if it might be possible to get permission from a retailer or site owner to put-up a sign ourselves and see what happens?
After all, how often do we hear them try and wiggle out by saying "we can't do anything about them!"0 -
Many supermarkets have a "community noticeboard", you could always pin a notice there. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Well that's a good idea. I might do just that in the local Co-op! :TPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

But it will be the Coop who are paying these 'numpties' to put these pcn's on the cars in the first placemake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

The usual "deal with the devil" is that the private ticketing firms offer to sort out any car park misuse for free. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.

Nope, we've never known that to be the case. It's not how PPCs work, their modus operandi is exactly like a self-funding protection racket.
They make an unsolicited approach to landowners and retailers out of the blue, convince them they have a parking problem and worry them about disabled bay 'abuse' then present a free solution. Great thinks the retailer/landowner, they will 'police' our car park for free!
And the people who fund it are, of course, their hapless scammed customers, residents, visitors, delivery staff etc. People who actually have permission and good reason to park there! But the main retailers haven't realised that yet and most landlords are just happy to believe that they have one less thing to think about with their property.
Not enough complaints reaching the CEOs and landowners, IMHO.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
