SKY tv/broadband/phone package: can you get it without having to install a dish?

Probably a daft question to most of you .... am considering changing from VirginMeeja at the moment for cost reasons to SKY, but realise that the missus may not want a dish stuck outside the house.

Do Sky provide a total cable service similar to VirginMeeja?

    Nope.

You need a satellite dish to receive TV.

The dish does not have to be attached to the house at all. It can be at ground level, on a short pole in the back garden discreetly covered with a shrub or bush...all that is necessary is a line of sight to the satellite.
The phone and broadband package does not of course require a dish at all-that is just for the TV service.

You are not bothered about the lack of iPlayer anymore then?

Don't pay BT for what is essentially Freeview with on-demand movies you have to pay for.

YouView was suggested in the OP's other similar thread.
