this looks awesome! - i hope they release one for the regular current accounts too.
some of you lot want a time machine to head back to the 'old days' - maybe prefer to carry lumps of silver and gold around in a little brown sack? that more useful?0 -
a look on-line to see if they are doing this for the current accounts made me realise i had missed the release of the iphone version of their mobile banking app - really very good - barclays, for all their market rigging exploits, seem to be leading innovation in retail banking.0

I think the problem is, unless your constantly on the phone, no one knows if you even have a phone, or what type it is. If you use your phone for payment, you are advertising your phone more, so have more chance of someone following you into a dark alley to try and steal it.
Unless of course you stuck the sticker to a Nokia 2110

I wish they had a round watch variant, I have my watch at all times and I wouldn't need to even put my hand in my pocket to grab my card or phone.0

I've used RFID in Hong Kong and Taiwan for a few years. It really does speed things up in retail outlets. It's quicker than the usual way of using cards and quicker than cash.
I'm personally in favour, but would prefer an opt-in. Most of my CCs aren't used for purchases and I don't like stuff arriving in the post unnecessarily.0 -

I keep getting bugged by it, but what really annoys me it only has two option to dismiss the pop-up. The options are "Remind me later" and "Tell me more". What I want is "I'm not interest please don't bother me again" option. I've complained to Barclaycard but said they couldn't be arsed to do anything.0
