Hi I have just switched to 18866/1899 and was wondering if you can help. My number is witheld when i dial out, how do I make calls to numbers that say 'this number does not accept anonomous calls'? I have tried putting in 1470 (like you do with BT) but then it says ' this service is not available for this call' ( or something like that!!) Are you not allowed to use 18866 with a withheld number?
many thanks

Hi, if you put the 1470 BEFORE the 18866 it should work, it does for me anyway....Helen:)ITV Winners Club Member #46:)

When I 1st started with 18866 i was checking to my mobile from my landline and the incoming call was missing the last digit!!
Not that I care and it's cheap
As kinesin said, the route of the call will determine whether caller display works or not. I've tested this out at work and on my mobile. Only around 20% of calls I receive from my registered 18866 home phone display the number, the remainder are 'Private' or 'Number withheld'. This probably means that 20% are routed in the UK and the rest are International, from my experience.0
