    My fig is very old and completely out of control. It is almost as tall as the house in a confined spot and absolutely huge. We don't water it or feed it and we don't like figs but it came with the house and we've just left it

    I don't think we have as many figs as usual this year, although there are still loads to dispose of. I think the most we ever weighed before we gave up was 24kg in a couple of weeks. We are very popular with the birds.

    In the last week loads of figs have grown very fast but i dont expect them ripen as its a bit late in the season. Thank you for all the replys
