the frugal frog If you advertise the items as first class and make everyone pay through paypal then as long as you have a printer with ink in it you can print your own postage paying for it using paypal. So you don't have to have the money upfront to pay for the postage.
I would list clothes individually so as to make more money.
Our house is pretty empty because we have sold pretty much everything either via carboots or eBay so if you need any help please feel free to PM me and I will do what I can to assist you xEverything is always better after a cup of tea0 -
I never knew you could print postage that way! you learn something everyday eh! I dont have a printer, I use the library for things that need copying/printing .
I am going to do it as a collect only bundle, as quite honestly I need cash , like , yesterday in order to put on the electricity card. there are no items of any worth, I would expect 99p for each item, notihing is designer, notiing is particularly smart. Have a few generic dvds to add and whatever other toot I can find to make it look appealing to bootfairers xSPC 2012 #1456

(((((((((((gettingready))))))))))))))) that's a heckuva lot of brown stuff to cope with all at once. Wishing you well.
(((((((((((((thefrugalfrog)))))))))))))) can you get to the CAB and see if they can refer you for help from a food bank?
'Preciate you might rather chew off your own leg but it may help. I think lot of people who haven't either been there or known someone who has been there recently, have any idea how hard it is to get help from the state and how blinking long they can take to get it to you. Makes it very scary especially for those who are only bumping along on the breadline in work and don't have enough to cushion them when out of it.
Hoping health and wealth improve for both of you, and soon.Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

Phew, big hugs and huge respect to chirpychick, gettingready and the frugal frog. So sorry you are having such tough times; having just come out at the other end of nine awful, grindingly hard years of living hand to mouth, I can say that firstly, there is light at the end of the tunnel, and I hope you get to it soon, and secondly, this forum is an absolute life-saver - possibly literally! I have learnt so much from the generous and supportive people here, and completely changed my attitude to so much of life in general .... love and thanks to all of you. xxx the cake.0

gettingready......feel free to get everything off your chest , it does help.
OK, you asked..
around 35k in debts (several places) that have not paid a penny towards any of them for well over 18 months now.
debts get passed on, new debt collection agencies keep on sending new letters/threats/threats of door collections etc etc....
me? head in the sand and ignoring it all
there is nothing that I have of value in case anyone sends bailiffs in so....
would love to go BR but have no money to pay the fees - those are quite high
can not go on any DMP as nobody would allow in the "budget" what my animals cost me so this is a no go area at all
head in the sand till I fel up to dealing with it - right now I am just about able to cope..
just got home, took the dog out for a pee, fed the lot, cleaned litter boxes and going to crsh to bed for a while as it is one of those days that all seem too much for me
here you go - almost the whole story.. sigh...
thanks a lot everyone
The Frugal Frog - I got several things on Gumtree and zero interest....

Getting ready, please do google CCCS, non profit debt people. You can do an online form to see if they can help you. Sincerely you should try, they won't hound you because thats not what they do but they may be able to help. We did it after OH first got ill and we were heading he same way as you. You don't even have to go any further with it but if you don't try you wont know. They are such nice people who are there to help you. They saved our sanity and the phone doesnt ring and brown envelopes rarely come through the door any more.Clearing the junk to travel light
Saving every single penny.

Oh my, I came on here to say that I cannot get any of those things for a £, wish I could, but feel bad now when I see how you two are struggling.
Gettingready you have really got your hands full! I'm miles away but here we have council-run money advice services that can lift the burden of debt - and will include the costs you have for your pets. It will be a slow job but once you get on the road with debt repayment, even a tiny amount, it really can take the pressure off.
frugalfrog hope you get some money soon - have you thought about listing on ebay - saying you'll post out in 3 days, then using some paypal money to purchase stamps on ebay? Lots of sellers post stamps first class, so they could be with you in time to post your sales out? (iykwim) - Otherwise use the paypal money to purchase food at one of the online discount places.
life is getting so tough isn't it???

life is horrid right now, BUT last year I had the chance to go to Africa and work, now that is poverty and dispair, no food, no clean water, nothing, just death all around me, I am in dire straits here, but even iif the worse comes to the worse, I have a roof over my head, I have tap water, I have tinned foods. I have never seen poverty like it before, and am glad I was able to work there and help, albeit only for a short while, I just feel extremely fed up right now.
Thanks for all the replies regarding ebay, I will work it somehow xxSPC 2012 #1456

Definitely contact cccs we are in over 65k of debt (or were 2 years ago when we went into the IVA) and we decided to go with payplan. They don't allow the amount it costs us to feed/insure our pets but they work with you to make an allowance elsewhere. i.e the grocery budget or something.
They do work with you to help you and we currently have 3 dogs on a very special diet, 1 cat on a special diet, 1 Guinea Pig & 2 Mice but at the time I had more animals (sadly passed on) and it was never once suggested that I got rid of them!
Please do seek help xEverything is always better after a cup of tea0
