If you want to send them a letter then send them an envelope endorsed "Payment Enclosed", with no stamp, and containing just a blank sheet of paper. Obviously don't put a return address on the envelope!

The Royal Mail will charge them for receiving the letter, and they'll be unable to resist 'cos they'll think there'a a fat, juicy cheque inside.

  • Rufuslives,

You're obviously well up on the situation but I think you're letting these scumbags inside your head and taking up too much of your time.

Unless you are intending to assist with taking them to court for harassment then I'd suggest the best course of action is to ignore them. Or you could be viewing this as an opportunity to do some PPC Baiting (great fun,..... apparently :rotfl:), in which case please carry on and keep us updated.

Go to the top of this page, click the link "parking tickets, fines and parking". On the new page you will see a button called "new thread" , near the top.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

  • This post has been very helpful - just wish I'd read it earlier!

I got a letter with a fine from parking eye through the post today - and concerned that the 'fine' was soon about to go up I went on-line to pay.
I entered all my details - the website appeared secure etc. - but at the end it said there had been an 'error'...... but it also gave me a 'payment attempt reference' number.
This concerned me as altough it said there had been an error the simple fact that they give a reference number makes me think they have taken the money - does anyone know if this means they will have debited my account or not?
I think it's all rather mis-leading and I'm now wishing I google the company before trying pay :/
  • Ruby888,
Please start a new thread rather than tacking the same post to various unrelated threads (see my response to your other identical post).
