I want to say that I think the only reason members have made others worried about generating large APGs is not because you don't have to worry if you find a good SA but to help you not face the opposite type of SA who you perhaps misjudged.
I have had a few pounds over £10 APGs in the past and they all went well, no questions. Recently we went to Asda and upon handing the APG which was £10 something, the SA called over a supervisor. I would have been worried if I had a big APG and even though you might be legit, one wrong SA and you will be made to wait for ages, probably be embarrassed because of the fuss they make and so on.
The worry is really concern for fellow elite, not out of spite. After what we faced last tie, I will always try to keep it under £10 because I'd not want to face the wrong SA accidentally. You have to be careful for your own sake. Some SA's are very clued up and will prevent you from using it.Cup of Tea? :coffee:0 -
Met with auto.armadillo earlier :hello: and had a :coffee:
Was lovely meeting another MSE'r and having a good chinwag

So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.0 -

Not white, rose or red and get 9 bottles to get APG of around £21!!0 -
James10999 - well done on not being trouted...but personally I would tread carefully. Please dont think that their praise is necessarily as genuine as you've taken it - at the end of the day, they work in a store that is designed to make money. Their carefully chosen words of 'won't be that high for long as head office constantly check to keep the prices low' to me reads that H/O will be notified of the glitch asap and steps taken to stop this comparing!
The staff will remember you from this, and whilst you have been treated favourably on this occasion (and I'm glad you were), they will not necessarily be so accommodating when you are doing this weekly/daily etc.
Personally I would stick to smaller APGs once or twice a week - you can quite easily build a stash doing this. And if a glitch occurs, do a couple of seperate shops at different stores, accummulating a few small APGs rather than one large one each time.
I'm not having a go, but I really wouldnt want you to get the same treatment I had, nor be lulled by a false sense of security that Asda applaud their customers for deliberately targetting their store for cheap shopping.hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0 -
So If you can arrange it please, we need a glitch on shower gel and shampoo now please:rotfl::rotfl:
Might even see if the carer is allowed to take gifts, but I would feel a cheepskate offering wine or lager:rotfl::rotfl:
Shampoo glitch: Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioner in Boots.

Bring on the next APG (got to check my receipt in 2 hours time hehe)
You appear to be a bit naive.
Or maybe your ASDA has some spectacularly stupid management/staff

Did a good shop in Costco today. Now they take off the vouchers without you needing to present them and the price displays show the vouchers.
Does anyone know if you can use Costco receipts for P&G SSM rewards?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
