Well I must say that I'm not impressed with Barbour's Customer Service. I've had my wax jacket 8 months and it started letting in water.

I emailed CS and 5 days later they got back to me advising that I take it back for a refund or send it to them for testing, and if I wanted, they would send out a pre paid bag to send it in. I replied asking for a bag and also told them about other faults with the jacket like threads coming away on seams so they were only held together with glue. I never got a response from them but I did get the bag to send it away in.

I emailed them a couple of days later to let them know that I would be away and would be unreachable between certain dates and if they could get back to me before a certain date just to keep me up to date it would be most appreciated - No reply.

I emailed them 2 days ago (over a week after the last email) to let them know that my departure date was fast approaching and that if they couldn't get hold of me could they take it up with my mum and gave them her contact details - As yet, no reply. :(

I've been reading online that if you buy a Barbour you have to make sure you get one that's "Made in England" and not one of their foreign made ones if you want to be absolutely sure of a good quality jacket. I'm beginning to wonder where mine was made.:(

I don't like any of their other jackets so if they've stopped doing the one I have, I won't be happy.:(

Happy - sending you a PM. Follow up your email with an email to the top dogs to get things moving... info attached on my PM

    Very soon.

I'm very jealous, the most exciting place I'm going is to bed, and that's only exciting to me because I'm reading a fantastic book... and no it's not that 50 Shades of Sh... Grey! :rotfl:

Ooh but I am going horse riding tomorrow for the first time in 13 years! Very excited but so nervous.. my status earlier was this...

Wishes that horses lied about their height like men do about the size of their willy's, that way I wouldn't be so scared about a horse riding lesson on a 16hh horse - as I would know that really it'd turn out to be a shetland pony!

It made me laugh anyway! :rotfl:
    Ooh I am rambling!:o
  • Thanks for the welcome - have had many a chuckle to a lot of your posts so far. You all seem as mad as me! Hopefully I will be able to add to the glitches too :)
