HC was savvy enough to remove the knife from his and put it in the kitchen drawer when he first got it.
They still insist on taking me bag apart when they see the set on their scanners.:(0 -
For once the OH has been helpful!!! He was at CS exchanging a fryer that was missing a lid and overheard an DTD.
He came over to me and said all excited "hey you know those headbands you bought for holiday ages ago, well someone has just got money back for them."
So in another tesco that we popped to he showed me the offending headbands.... they are a blue and grey headband - Hair gallery Strap headbands and are meant to be 3 for £3 - they go through at £3 each so £9 - meaning DTD of £12.
The muppet still said to me though "if you're going to do that DTD then I'm not coming to CS with you, I'll sit in the car!" That's usually the response if I use more than one coupon! :rotfl:0 -

If you dont have it yet. I wonder if you can ask for a refund. I may try that!
was thinking the same. now worried on the ethics. I would have paid 2.99 for 44 quids worth of stuff:Dgrocery challenge 9.86/600 -
re the John frieda issue - difficult one.
Ideally the girl at CS would want to see the 2 JFs you bought and then do a return on the 2 John Friedas. Then she would put three through the till. So if you have 2 John Friedas that match the barcodes on the receipt and can show the girl these then that is OK.
So its a case of identifying what is on the receipt via the barcodes. If you can do this and have the right JFs in your shampoo stockpile to take then its worth doing.
If you do have the right 2 JFs in your stockpile you might ask the CS girl to do a straight refund or to give you a gift card so you could buy them again with your next shop.
Also is it a cash transaction - might make it easier.
I was too impatient to wait for the APG. I saw "shampoo £5" and "Conditioner £5" on the receipt and got excited about what it could be
I plugged the barcode from the receipt into google and just guessed the last digit in the same way as we do with clubcards on the PP site.
When JF came up as a result I went to MSM to see if I would get an APG compared against T or S and thats when I saw the "3 for £10" promo was running
I quite often google barcodes. Does that make me sadApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
