Ooooh, I need to get me one of them!

The last jar I couldn't open I gave to my dear OH to open for me, but soon realised the lid wasn't budging for him.. and he's a typical man, with too much male pride.. long story short, he bashed the lid off the kitchen door frame (think this was supposed to loosen it) and smashed the jar. Homepride pastabake everywhere ;).

If its a jar you are going to use in one go, like the pasta sauce, take a sharp knife/fork/screwdriver and pierce the lid :)

Or run the jar under hot water for couple of minutes..lid expands so will open easily.
    Born to glitch :D

tbw, could I please ask that you delete your list post? Not that I don't agree - excellent post - just not sure this is the place for it in that format? If you are agreeable, quoted posts may also need to be deleted if possible?

Agree with you wholeheartedly - I would hate to lose this thread :(, when we all get so much from it.
