Thanks Nikki. I'll have to Google it. I can't keep knocking on my neighbours' doors with my Loyd Grossman's in my hands!

It's brilliant, it opens anything from a small screw bottle lid to a really big jar:TIt has sort of like "teeth" things that grip the lid:)and its made by Brabantia

Just had another fall to add to the list :(

My balance is rubbish at the best of times and I stupidly decided to stand on the bottom ledge on the outside of the patio doors to reach the top to clean them.
Slipped and have now twisted my ankle when I fell over :(

I broke my foot once doing this on some inside windows (slipped off the window sill)...you'd have thought I'd have learned....what a wally I am :mad:

On another note. I really like the beans :):)

Ouch - hope you got some ice onto it. I also like the beans they were yummy
I found myself in A's today and I picked up one of their vindaloos and all I can say is, I'm quite disappointed. It was as mild as anything. :( A vindaloo isn't a vindaloo unless it burns! (one the way out as well as on the way in!)

I picked up a madras too and I hope it's better.

We had Madras from MrA and it was mega hot - hope it is hot enough for you

That reminds me of Unilever VIP.. :)

Talking of Unilever - thought they shut the VIP bit down as they were going to introduce something else - that was ages ago has anyone heard any rumours of anything new from them?

You are all so young. Wait until you get to my age. I can't even open up jars any more!

    Same here. :D

Try donning a marigold when you next have a go!

    Helps no end!

Thanks JJ. Do you know why this happens as you get old(er)? Is it just because all your strength goes in your wrists?

I've got one of these, had it bought as a wedding pressie on my first marriage when I was 22 and not going to say how long ago that was:eek::eek::eek::eek:but it's still going strong and opens anything

Ooooh, I need to get me one of them!

The last jar I couldn't open I gave to my dear OH to open for me, but soon realised the lid wasn't budging for him.. and he's a typical man, with too much male pride.. long story short, he bashed the lid off the kitchen door frame (think this was supposed to loosen it) and smashed the jar. Homepride pastabake everywhere ;).
