I'm sooooh bored today, something I very rarely am. I can't find any cheap flights when I want them to get some sun. Ah well, tomorrow is another day. Takeaway and a movie tonight, me thinks !

from where and when, how long?
    can we look too??[/QUOTE]

Too kind, thank you! :A Trouble is fitting in work commitments of me and DH, trying to get sth before DD goes back to Uni (otherwise major kennel fees), using free hotel nights I have, oh and did I mention I'm really tight nowadays, particularly like things v cheap or free ! :rotfl: Can't think where I learned that! :rotfl: Something will turn up when it's meant to, I'm sure, but some sun in Spain, Portugal or the Canaries is definitely calling.

I've had a lovely takeaway and a glass of whisky and lit some candles to cheer up this miserable evening. Hope you're all lovely and warm and comfy and enjoying the extra day off, whatever the weather and where you all are. :A
    Hope is not a strategy.

I've been a naughty girl as well. I've been married a whole year today and i was so caught up sorting out the christening i forgot about our anniversary. The hubby came home from work today with flowers and chocs and i hadn't even got him a card:o:o
    Oops..

Happy wedding anniversary mr and mrs Stinkface :D
Oops indeed... shame T or S wasn't open longer so you could pop out and get a card. Make him a cup of tea and have a little smooch on the sofa to make up for it :rotfl:

Has anyone got any advice on best broadband providers. We are with Virgin and can't have cable at new house. We are looking at whether to have BT, Virgin or Sky, they are all roughly the same speed at 3 mb :(. We do want digital TV and need to keep our same BT phone number so may be able to look at the best package overall. Cant have Virgin TV though so it will have to be Sky TV, HD, with sports. Anyone got any experience good or bad as to best one to go with. TIA
If it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:

Any sign of bubba making an appearance yet??
Not yet.. I'm planning on crossing my legs til Friday i think. I want a few more days to put my feet up whilst DS is at nursery (oh and also for me to pop to a few shops to use up my vouchers/BM's/MOC's) :D
I am just watching man V food in an attempt to put me off gorging on the AI food! And it is working so far!
I love that program...I'm going to do my own WOMAN V food in a sec - those peanut M&M's are calling my name :rotfl:

I'm watching the Great British Bake-off on BBC iPlayer - on the first episode. I've missed Paul Hollywood and his twinkly blue eyes:blushing:

I think Greece has such an unstable economic state at the moment I would be very wary of booking it - if they are going to go out of the EU it could happen literally overnight

This sort of "advice" will kill the Greek econony quicker than any euro bail out.

for anyone thinking of going to Greece please read the FO travel site rather than the above BS......
