Well, my planned day of rest today has so far consisted of a 20 min walk to get the car and a walk round Iceland to buy some stuff for the freezer
And getting up off the sofa every now and again to make a cup of tea

from where and when, how long?
can we look too??
Don't bother looking at Dalaman - the flight prices have gone off the planet.

I've just been going through this with eldest child booking a last minite holiday so what are your criteria?
What airport?
Do you want self catering, half board, or all inclusive?
What is your budget and how many are going?
Do you just want sun and beaches and dont care where?
Or a city break?
I think I might have some links saved.
We even had a look at some last minite fly cruises and outside cabins were working out as cheap as basic all inclusive beach holidays - sadly though mostly seem to go out of Gatwick which is almost impossible for us ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. we had a brilliant time in yorkshire, went to quite a few different places through the week, shame to come back home really and then back to work today:(. one more week then we're back into school/playgroup routines
can anyone give me a quick roundup of current glitches etc so i have an up to date list before i start going through from the beginning of this thread.

Or anywhere Greek for the same reason [/QUOTE]
I think Greece has such an unstable economic state at the moment I would be very wary of booking it - if they are going to go out of the EU it could happen literally overnight“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Hello everyone
Hope you've all enjoyed the bank holiday. We finally got my little boy christened yesterday and we had a huge bbq afterwards in the garden. Thanks to everyone here (and Mr A) we managed to feed 30 people and keep them supplied in wine for pretty much next to nothing.:D The weather even behaved itself as well and we had an amazing day.
Abbeywoodangel- welcome to the thread.
Clipstrip- i hope that some lovely person will be helping you so you don't miss too many glitches.
Enterprise- have a fab time, i'm well jel!!
Cambridge don't have any of the loo roll or kitchen roll inI'm not moaning really though as i would much rather have the wine and they have plenty of that:D:D

Celebrated hubby's 40th over the weekend, he managed to slip on a decking and fell, hitting table and chair on the way down. Escaped with few bruises, but his back is very sore.

We were there on election day and had the same worry but it was fine. The Greek economy NEEDS the income from tourism.
Greek air traffic control went on strike last year and left us stranded there because our flight home got cancelled.
