Yes, I know the OP only got a much smaller than expected APG - I posted my comments earlier when it seemed her APG was going to be huge. I am very interested in knowing exactly which wines she got - surely she must have picked up the wrong stuff - & hopefully she will tell us soon.

My Asda seems to get a till message flash up for larger APGs - its never ben a problem as the Supervisor just comes and keys in her code. It must be a local thing.

Maybe its like Ts Ss tills and they need approval if the percentage of the total shop paid by coupons is above a set limit

I sometimes need a supervisor and sometimes dont. Never figured it out. I asked once and was just told it was because i had used a lot of coupons. Not sure if that means number of coupons, value of coupons or percentage of overall shop. I didnt press for more details

Is it free to go to the library to use their computers? I might see if I can print off the APGs (I understand that this may incur a charge).

I feel so lost without my computer :(

    (insert mournful background music)

My library gives free internet access but charges 10p per print

It works for apgs but not safe coupons as i cant install the software

If you ask nicely some CS will print off for you in A's Just dont ask them to print a whopper or a glitchy apg!!!!

I do it very very rarely but i treat it the way people go up to lottery machines asking them to check if they are winners. I just say "would you mind checking if this receipt is worth something?" then act surprised when it is and ask if they can print for me to use that day

I dont think the amount of your APG compared to your spend is even noticed by most SA's. But I never use one generated by a product on the same product, as they do often ask what was cheaper elsewhere ..... and if you are buying exactly the same again, then you could get caught out!
  • Thinking of using the coupon in the Express-Does anyone know if the Bavaria beer is still comparing? I can't find it on MSM but not sure it was ever there? not sure which supermarket it was comparing to? was it a sainsbugs v asda shop?
    Thank you kind peeps

no i gave the first glitched batch to my mum plus my kids prefer unsalted:T:T

i think it was more the derogatory way we were referred to and the fact that as stupid idiots we hadn't posted it on there, the op in question hasn't bothered to name or thank the individual Op's either . Most of us would have the courtesyof linking to hukd deals and thanking individual Op's by name not slandering them:eek:

also the fact that you are likely to get slaughtered over there makes me very very nervous about posting any comment never mind a deal:o

I know what you mean. It is worse on PTS :( But that is exactly why I prefer MSE because the ethos is different and on the whole everyone tries to be helpful and find ways for each other to save money :)
