    Morning all

Off out shopping with my nephew this morning. Tis gonna be expensive :( gonna try and get him started on some Mse ways though. Start small :)

Magicowen- I have finally made it to the post office!! I was :o at the cost of sending it but it's for a good cause :)

Huge thanks QOC :D Sorry about the cost :o It's ridiculous pricing nowadays I find, if only there was a glitch on postage prices! It;s MUCH appreciated and I can help cover the cost of postage if needs be seen as your parcel will be helping enough as it is! :)

Morning all, dreary day in Drugby today :(
I've got to get tidying today, the house is a tip, it's so hard to be motivated when you know that others are just going to mess it up in a few hours! :(

Good luck at the vets Dreamerbea

Nannylala - just wanted to say your post made me cry and smile with the thought of the love and support you all have. Hugs to you all and healing vibes heading Auntielala's way.

Kadison - thanks for posting the ribbon instructions - I will be trying it out! :T

Hope all goes well for you today ClipstripBargains :)

    10p items and wine!!! :eek::eek::eek:

So you will hve 2 APGs of about £7 against receipts showing a £10 spend

I would expect to be trouted when you go to use the APG or at least have your card marked by your store :(
I didn't just buy 10p items, I also some beans and some smart price things, to make the shop up just adding about the sweets so people know they can make them up with these items if they choose to do so.
Any way been to asda got 3 more rose and some more choc pouches will know 12 ish if it has worked and will report bk if no one beats me to it.but would be equally happy if it doesn't match to as used the apt voucher anyway.

Apg's over a tenner just need the SA to input the amount manually. They shouldn't need a supervisors intervention. I too think it's best to try and split the shop where possible. Just means you end up with lots more carrots and bananas etc. to make up the eight comparing items :)

OK - I guess I'm wrong about Supervisors being called. Perhaps its because I have used APG's and coupons to get my final total right down - or maybe I just look shifty, disreputable and on the fiddle:D.

I use my wombled APG's in 10's sometimes (as I convinced myself that was the maximum they'd take in one transaction). I've never been questioned on it even though they have to call a supervisor to do the override every time.
The only time I started to sweat was when a chap looked at all the receipts and said 'Oh, you seem to have a lot of different credit cards!'
I replied 'All my friends and family give me their receipts because they know we're very short of cash' and he said 'Oh, that's nice' and just carried on!

In theory you could have 20 valid apgs at any one time. Say you have 10 august receipts that you printed off august 31. These would be valid til sep 28th

You could also have 10 september receiplts printed off sep 27th valid til october 25th

I'm not suggesting for a second that anyone uses 20 in one go. Just saying its possible to have more than 10 legitimately ;)

As for diff CCs. I've never been asked why i have different ones but i always planned on using same excuse as you. Or say that i get loyalty points on each card so long as there is monthly spending on them :D

Is it free to go to the library to use their computers? I might see if I can print off the APGs (I understand that this may incur a charge).

I feel so lost without my computer :(

    (insert mournful background music)

Hi, does your A have a place instore where they will print off the APG for you? Many do. Or, when my printer was down, I e-mailed the receipt numbers to a friend who printed them off for me - probably cheaper to buy a mate a bottle of wine (:D) as a thank you than pay the library?

It's the diddy one's that are a pain - I have to really make myself remember to use a selection of values so I don't get left with a massive pile worth 5-10p each!
No, Mr A, that is NOT 'Great news'!!:D

    Wombling totals: Oct = £243.32 - £93.32 over target!
Nov Wombling Tally: £27.36 so far... behind target :(

Why are HUKDers fools and idiots if they post MSE finds over there, but we are thanked and applauded if we import their good stuff over here? Wasn't the Lurpak an HUKD find?

Surely it is swings and roundabouts? Everyone posts their finds on whichever open forum they prefer and we all benefit. If peeps start only posting in closed shops we will all lose out. Prefer the idea that we can all share the joy :)

i think it was more the derogatory way we were referred to and the fact that as stupid idiots we hadn't posted it on there, the op in question hasn't bothered to name or thank the individual Op's either . Most of us would have the courtesyof linking to hukd deals and thanking individual Op's by name not slandering them:eek:

also the fact that you are likely to get slaughtered over there makes me very very nervous about posting any comment never mind a deal:o

i have some loreal vouchers expiring tomorrow, i haven't a clue what to get from where so been hanging on to them hoping inspiration would come (in the form of the elite of course:D), anyone used any recently
