Tonight is the first time I have done a specific targeted Adsa shop. I didn't think about the total potential voucher being a problem but now I'm worried! I bought 6x red wine and 12 x rose wine in the hope of getting a price match voucher from Asda. Hopefully I will get a voucher but do you think I will struggle to spend it without drawing attention to myself?

I am sure that such a big APG will draw attention ! I would suggest that you use it on a big fairly normal shop (one that doesn't include more wine!). Use it on a Saturday when they are busy and try to find a CA who looks like a student laid back' type. And keep them chatting if you can. They will have to call for authorisation as bigger APGs (I think> £10 ?) need a Supervisor to override. Hopefully the CA won't notice the details on the receipt and the Supervisor will be so rushed off her feet that she will just punch in her authorisation code and shoot off again.

Stay calm ! (and good luck). Probably best to keep your future potential APGs down in size (hindsight is a wonderful thing) and maybe keep a very low profile in whichver store you spend it in.

    Evening:D

I definitely think this ship has sailed tonight, with the choccy and the wine:(:(:(
When in A's at 21.30, the woman on the till commented to me, just how many people were out buying loads of choccy, while examining my basket:eek::eek::eek:, then a manager came over while she was serving me, and got her to sign something, she asked "have I done something wrong?" he said "no no, just serve, it's fine":eek::eek:
Now, might I add, I have only been in to this A's, last night and tonight for choc, and just tonight for wine.
I am fortunate to have *a few* A's and T's all in close proximity, I think I am close by to QPR, Nikkilala, and Clipstrip:D:D:D

You're also near Czerchy & Neosi & Kizkiz as well then;)Where is your local, we all range from Wat***d to BB and will travel:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I used an apg of £12.60 last night, the SA took an age checking it then said " Sorry I had to check it, I've never seen one that big before" :o She was then saying how great it was and how did I get it.

    :D

I think this is why SA's check the receipts extra carefully or ask if you want them back. I don't think they are trying to catch us out or want the info to pass onto management or are intending to reuse the receipt (as some have suggested previously) - they see loads of APGs during a working week and by far the majority will be for small amounts. I think they would like to be able to pass on tips to family and friends so that they can benefit too, so are trying to work out/memorise what the key items are. Sometimes they just ask outright. When the OJ glitch was on, I was using £12-£14 APGs daily from a £2-£3 spend because that was what 10 x dom jolly's produced with an existing oj APG - without any problems, and I am sure many on here were doing the exact same thing :D

Oh eck, I thought that was the idea, you get the wine/choc and then make up the 8 items with cheap items that compare (loose veg, value brands etc) Should we be getting higher priced items too?

I have a £6.76 apg from a £13 spend (chocs) Im getting worried now!

Can i also ask a quick question. I got a wonble for £1.90 as well last night, but Im paranoid, so I used a different email and address for each claim (and also did one in FF and one on IE) does that mean i should use them in separate transactions as they are 'different people', and also make sure i use the matching email for any other APGs that this creates on the next shop?

Im guessing we should also be paying cash so credit/debit card numbers can not be linked?

Hiya, No need for secret squirrel tactics, don't worry they are really good at our A's I have used several APG's in one shop that were not mine and only paid a few pennies for the shop. They didn't batter an eye. I do always use SS though.

Having said that now you will probably get King/Queen trout on your shop. But I wouldn't have thought so.
They are really good with coupons to there even when the item ends up being free. I have been know to have to run to get value biscuits or something as I have a minus figure.:D

    Hi
I too created a large apg yesterday and as soon as i realised how big it was I was worried. As I dont shop too often I thought I would stock up on wine and choccie. Never thought of splitting the shop til I got home. Couldnt sleep last night for worrying and went at 6am this morning to spend it . Bought clothing and SA hardly batted an eyelid she seemed pleased for me and asked what she should buy to get a similar apg. Never again though ive learned a lesson. Want to stay under the radar. HTH x

hopefully will be the same for me, i use one Mra all the time, and dont want to feel as if im being watched, i will split targeted shops in future :)
