Not a glitch as such but a useful basket filler to make up 8 items.
Smart price corned beef £2 against Tesco £1.54, so a tin of corned beef for just under a quid..which is cheap cos its v pricey now
    !
why is it under a quid

Like Zippy I don't understand the calculations? Surely it's £1.39?
Long day with no bargains but saw this and thought it was super cute (can't remember who it was that asked of ways to repackage open glitchy choc!)

I was just thinking that, but Im really rubbish at working things out like that, I can never work out what the 10% is, on the whole shop, on the item that compares? Its all way over my head!

I bought some corned beef the other day not done a pie for ages but had a tin of sweetcorn to use up (for some reason my son decided to buy a tin of sweetcorn when I sent him round to the local shop, he said it was a good offer, he doesnt even like sweetcorn, but obviously my MSE ways are rubbing off on him!!

If you fry the beef before adding corn, onions, carrots and peas, you can get alot of the fat off anyway (but I always feel dirty when ive eaten it, reminds me of cat food and my student days in the nurses home!!)

I definitely think this ship has sailed tonight, with the choccy and the wine:(:(:(
When in A's at 21.30, the woman on the till commented to me, just how many people were out buying loads of choccy, while examining my basket:eek::eek::eek:, then a manager came over while she was serving me, and got her to sign something, she asked "have I done something wrong?" he said "no no, just serve, it's fine":eek::eek:
Now, might I add, I have only been in to this A's, last night and tonight for choc, and just tonight for wine.
I am fortunate to have *a few* A's and T's all in close proximity, I think I am close by to QPR, Nikkilala, and Clipstrip:D:D:D
