Night folks. I'm turning in early.
I'm going to Mr S tomorrow to use up a bunch of till spits on litre bottles of Smirnoff and Bells whisky (both £21.80 in S and £15 in T :beer:)
Here's hoping the prices don't change on me overnight!
Lets hope not I am wanting to use my £6.80 BM and my £4 off £20 spend to make it £11 a litre on the voddie0 -

I can confirm this too -- posters saying otherwise on HUKD must be doing it wrong!
Incidentally, I noticed today that there were 3 different versions of this same red wine in A. They had a 2010 vintage with red top, a 2011 vintage with red top and also a 2011 vintage with black top -- all found together on the same shelf. They all have the same front labels whilst the designs on the back labels are different - importantly though, the bar codes are also all the same, so it doesn't matter which ones you buy!0 -

Not a glitch as such but a useful basket filler to make up 8 items.
Smart price corned beef £2 against Tesco £1.54, so a tin of corned beef for just under a quid..which is cheap cos its v pricey now :mad:
Love me carribean corned beef concoction as taught by my MIL God rest her soul. Fry chopped onion, garlic, pepper & tomato, mash in the corned beef until piping hot, add Encona hot pepper sauce top blow your socks off. Serve with rice & black eye peas. Yum yum!
I remember my Mam making a corned beef pie, not something I could eat now all that beef and fat *shudder*0 -
Ok you have to leave the figure which A$da thinks you paid (£35.88) out of your workings out as you only actually paid £20 for 6 bottles.
Difference in price between Tosco and A$da including the 10% difference is £13.06
£20.00 you paid less £13.06 price difference = £6.94/6 =£1.16 per bottle.
HTH
No FKs calculations are correct:- 75p is the right price for the Vina Albali Rosado Tempranillo
- 95p is the right price for the Vina Albali Tempranillo (red)
A$da (no multibuy) = 6 x £6.18 = £37.08
T3sco = 6 x 4 = £24 ... less 10% (£2.40) = £21.60
APG = £15.48 (£37.08- £21.60)
Actually paid £20 ... which after APG means you pay £4.52 for 6 ... or 75p each
Vina Albali Tempranillo
A$da (no multibuy) = 6 x £5.98 = £35.88
T3sco = 6 x 4 = £24 ... less 10% (£2.40) = £21.60
APG = £14.28 (£35.88 - £21.60)
Actually paid £20 ... which after APG means you pay £5.72 for 6 ... or 95p each0
