    Right time to start posting some finds! :o

    Random one I found today while looking for comparables to M's;

    Asda = 16pk Dairylea triangles for £1 (reg or light) as are Dairylea dunkers 4pk , Dairylea slices 8pk and Dairylea strip cheese 4pk.

    Still a few bits left of the clearance lines I reported before, biscuits, nuts and big bags of crisps. Worth having a look in your store while you're there :)

    Lidl's weekend deals (valid this Sat and Sun only);

    Sliced cooked meats (chicken breast, ham, turkey) 125g = 69p
    Vine tomatoes = 99p per kg
    Manor vale mild cheddar 400g = 99p
    Branston pickle 520g = 69p

    Ongoing offers from yesterday in Lidl;

    Utterly Butterly 500g = 89p
    Pepsi/7Up 2litre = 89p
    Lucozade sport 4 pk = £1.75

    As always lots of other deals in the leaflet but I'd be here all night :p That's the main savings to be had.

    Remember the 50p Mccain pdf ends on 31st :eek: I'm sure I've seen Mccain crinkle home chips are £1 in M's (not sure about comparisons from T's or A's ;)) but they are not on the M's site and forgot to look yesterday :o

    And boy do I know how much pain you have gone through with this, because I suffered with this about 15 years ago. It was always worse in the middle of the night and I thought I was going round the bend. I couldn't function properly, couldn't sleep with the pain, couldn't eat and couldn't concentrate on anything. Had all sorts of tests but it was only after an MRI scan that it was confirmed and I got the right treatment (at that time it was stuff they used to treat epilepsy with, which makes you really tired).

    It took a few months to get over it and I have been fortunate not to have a recurrence.

    Hope you soon feel a bit better.

    Gabapentin??
    sorry about the spelling but I had that for my slipped disc, now have chronic kidney disease!!!

    I never post anything on there anymore, bloody ungrateful lot

    Agreed. I dont post there either because there is a very nasty element

    But i still think, if they do find out about a glitch then so be it. They usually take a while to catch up with what we're doing and because of the incessant need for proof we can usually get another day again before they believe it :rotfl:

    :hello:Hello missy, long time no 'see' ;):D

    How are you? :A Hope all's good with you :)

    Ouchies! Mum's had steroid injections and I've been threatened with them in all different joints over the years but I've refused :o:o:o My joint pains are so spontaneous and follow no pattern, every single joint in my body, some last a day, some last for weeks, there's no rhyme or reason so I can't justify having such a concentrated dose in one joint when it might be something else the next day! I don't know about sod's law, I think they should rename it to Fudge's law! :o

    I've been taking prednisolone steroids since I was 5 :eek::( (am 25 now :() In the first couple of years they would reduce the dose down in stages before bringing me off them completely but it would only take a few months max before a simple cold or another infection would cause a relapse, my bloods would drop and I'd be straight up on a high dose again. Since the age of 7 I've taken them every day. Luckily as I've got older the relapse frequency has reduced and the majority of the time I am on a low maintenance dose but it's been more than enough to do the damage. Unless an alternative is found, I will be on them forever (along with a cocktail of others)

    You're right about the bone scan. Mine was only detected because I requested it, intuition I guess :( The scan is nice and simple and very quick. I really hope the results show a good bone density and you're able to get the pain relief you need :Axx

    :wave: I've been in hiding! Many reasons! I'm not doing too bad thanks, but need these steroid injections!! If you can manage without them then do it though because they can be painful!! My passport is stamped at shoulders, elbows, knees, wrist, tendon in my hand and muscular!! (I've generally found them more painful in smaller joints though. And tendon in the finger is :mad::mad::( !! :( They give me 80mg in each shoulder when I need them, (each shoulder every 2-3 months) which my GP had to double check because he didn't think they could do such a high dose! :( I used to take prednisolone too, but I am very limited as to what I can take now having had surgery last year for a pancreatic cyst (caused by sulfasalazine and / or methotrexate that I was taking very high doses of for Rheumatoid Arthritis) I can't even take anti- inflammatories now. :( I can eat now though!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I couldn't before surgery, I left hospital at 6 1/2 stone, I am 5' 7", and was 9 1/2 before the flaming cyst!! Back to over 8 now!! ;)

    My flare ups don't seem to follow a pattern either, so I might well suggest to my doc that they are following 'Fudge's Law!!' :rotfl::rotfl::cool::cool: Hope your recurrences continue to be less and less, pain ain't fun! And thank you for remembering me and saying hi!! :A:A:A:):):)
