  • Just got back from A's, went looking for the loo roll first but couldn't find any. No empty shelves where it should be and no sel's for 9 packs anywhere. I then noticed a lonely pack on the top shelf so I went to get something to reach it, I came back with a washing line prop :D the wife was with an sa who said why do you need that one :rotfl:. Knocked it off and it scanned at £1.50 :T
Also got 10 bottles of sports drinks for 10p each and 5, 6 packs of walkers crisps at 25p each. :)
Got 3 bottles of wine and some choc , but added some milky stars :o apg time at 23.40pm

Then went to M's for some decent whoopsies again, will have to have a bbq this weekend as no room for anything else in the freezers :)

I'm in two minds what to do here - any advice welcome!

Bought 3 x wine, 2 x M&M Peanut, 3 x Galaxy Counters and 3 x Milky Way Stars hoping to compare with T's (I'm in NI so no comparison with Mor's) - I didn't realise the Stars were not glitching with T's anymore and have compared at the same price (£6.27).

My APG for this receipt (not yet printed) is £14ish but could really have been £17ish - just wondering what the situation would be if I were to return the 3 x Stars and exhange them for 3 x Counters or 3 x M&M Peanuts .... would that mess up my current APG of £14 and maybe forfeit it or would it amend itself thus giving me an APG of £17 ...

or should I even bother?????! :D :rotfl:

    I really wouldn't bother:)

:hello:Evening everyone, just taken me hours to catch up with you all. Well done on the butter, wine and choccies!! None for me as no expresses or As near me
Plus I've spent most of the past 24 hours in a drug induced sleep. Emergency doc visit late Thurs night and a follow up with my GP yesterday has resulted in a diagnosis of trigeminal neuralgia.....apparently its a very painful condition (I seriously thought I was having a stroke!!) and can be difficult to treat. Thankfully the pain has eased to a more acceptable level but the tablets are making me really sleepy and queasy so it looks like I'm housebound for a few days:(
My BS order arrived yesterday so I'm gonna go treat myself to a yummy smelling shower and snuggle in my pjs til its time to take my tablets and sleep again

Best wishes from Belfast!!! Hope you feel better soon - apparently that condition absolutely awful - take care.P

I am getting a different answer to you (but I prefer yours!)
    Here's my workings
    6 bottles bought
    35.88 (a$da)
    24.00 (Tosco)
    35.88-24.00= 11.88
    10% difference= 1.18
    11.88-1.18=10.70
    10.70/6 = 1.78 per bottle????:(

You've deducted the 10% from Asda where you need to add it, so it's £11.88 + 1.18.
