sorry for misinterpreting my receipt this morning re the minstrels, was racing out to work:o
thanks to whoever mentioned the shades 9pack of white loo rolls, been waiting for cheap loo roll for ages:T:T:T:T
can confirm this is a not just a local offer -got some in my store got 6packs then went in for another 6, got trouted with the second lot beacuse i had bought a few plenty as well(they had restocked, it would have been rude not to:D:D:D) manager who i've had a moan to about my mum said we've noticed you've been buying bulk:eek: asked her what constitutes buying bulk, she says >6 and may appear that they are wholesaling to me to sell on:eek::eek::eek: she knows i'm a gp and asked her who on earth i would be selling to.....my patients?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
anyway also asked her if she had a problem with my coupons while she was trouting me i may as well egt everything off my chest, she said no they were fine, and asked her about apg-she said as long as receipt etc with it no problem
have changed my mind about returning the choccies that didn't compare as well, best to do an FK and keep a low profile me thinks;););) told me mum to go herself for her own loo rolls
annoying thing was 2 staff members piling trolley's high while i was there for themselves, queried this with the managaer and she said if they were on their breaks they are allowed to shop......cop out:mad:
shelf was clear within a few mins (not just by me lol, i was telling every tom !!!!!! and harry that walked past buying the 4 pack for £1.72:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:-some very grateful customers :T:T:T:T:T:T one guy said let me just check with the wife :doh::wall::wall::wall:

As I was leaving Asda, I saw a fellow MSEr. I explained that there was no wine
How lovely though, i was them offered a lift to the big Asda :j:T
Thank you!
It was fun! We were wombling bins and trollys (the bins were a first time for us both but we were feeling emboldened by numbers;)
Just about to process them after this. There was also wine and chocs. I can confirm, if it helps, that a broccoli floret does count as 1 of your 8 items :rotfl:
Thank you, you know who you are
:j:j:j
That sounds fab!:T

I wouldn't worry though as the sprogs eat yoghurt like its going out of fashion. I also get between 3 to 4 4pint bottles a week. So on average 14 pints of undiluted milk. As I drink soya and OH has skimmed UHT in his drinks. The sprogs pretty much drink the rest themselves. So on average they have a pint each a day and that's before it's waters down. They drink milky hot choc, cold milk and 2 lots of cereal a day (they ALWAYS have some immediately before bedtime too!) so I reckon they have more than most sprogs.
If I didnt water it down I would have to increase my purchase of milk to 7x 4 pints a week instead of 3 to 4x 4 pint bottles a week!
In addition they have loads of green veg, eggs etc in their diet so they have calcium intake from lots of non dairy sources too.
Cheers though
:T:T Wow that's great :T:T
Sorry I really hope it didn't come across as a lesson on how to be a mother :eek::eek::( Especially when I'm still a kid myself:o I really didn't mean it like that at all and you do amazingly well, I truly admire all your foraging and baking, you're so productive and efficient!
I know others were enquiring about the milk and I just wanted to point this out incase it wasn't considered. Before I was diagnosed with Osteoporosis, calcium intake didn't even cross my mindI know it's extreme but I would hate for anyone to have to face being told at 25 that they're bones are effectively dissolving
