You can get a drink out of a coconut.........Bananababe wrote: »Na that's just in Aberdeen doll, rest of us happy to stand a round
Was going to say the very same thing Bananababe! Sorry Happy
I'm thinking it might be an 'up North' thing though, as omg, Invernesians are tight boogers, whereas you head to Glasgow and the west coast (not sure about Edinburger, but 'you'll have had your tea springs to mind!) you end up fighting over who's paying for the next round! Couldn't believe it when I moved up here and I would quite happily buy a round then the next person would go to the bar and buy themselves a drink and no one else :eek:...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

Just got a few more Counters/M&M's for the cinema tickets, only a small A store so didn't stock the wine.
Forgot to mention the Smartprice Corned beef is good for filling up your basket against Tesco...but avoid the loose grapefruit, can't believe t's charge 65p for a single grapefruit, scandalous!
1 x ASDA Limes Loose £0.27 £0.30
1 x ASDA Orange Loose £0.30 £0.30
1 x ASDA Red Grapefruit Loose £0.36 £0.65
1 x ASDA Smartprice Porridge Oats (1Kg) £0.75 £0.75
1 x ASDA Smartprice Corned Beef (340g) £2.00 £1.54 :T
8 x M&M's Peanut Pouch (185g) £16.72 £8.00
4 x Galaxy Counters (140g) £8.36 £4.00
3 x Sea Isle Black Eye Beans in Salted Water (400g) £2.34 N/A
3 x KTC Chick Peas in Salted Water (400g) £1.11 N/A
Can anyone let me know to get free beans please?

Can anyone tell me how the wine works - im totally lost?
Do ASDA let you put todays receipt in today?
And do they give an APG for over £20?
TIA
Also the chocs - are they working out at below £1 each or less? Thanks
Yes they do, but it's not really advisable. Best to try keep below £10 as not to alert A to the glitch.0 -

Well done on your weekly budgeting. I happened to catch your post yesterday morning as I stayed up all night for a milk and more delivery! Didn't come til 6:20am!!!
Please don't take this negatively but I just wanted to add my tuppence with regards to milk. I am very very very lucky in that 90% of my milk has been whoopsied to 10p or slightly more in the last few months though nobody else will drink it out the freezer  so it does involve shopping almost every evening!
But I would approach water down milk with caution. Calcium is already less concentrated in whole milk because of the increased fat content. Therefore watering it down by half will mean you're having under half the amount of calcium per 100ml than semi skimmed milk. Of course if you eat lots of yogs and cheese etc, this maybe completely irrelevant but I thought it was worth pointing out.
I'm very concious of my calcium intake because I have osteoporosis. I am no expertbut it's very important to have a good calcium intake
Cheers.
I wouldn't worry though as the sprogs eat yoghurt like its going out of fashion. I also get between 3 to 4 4pint bottles a week. So on average 14 pints of undiluted milk. As I drink soya and OH has skimmed UHT in his drinks. The sprogs pretty much drink the rest themselves. So on average they have a pint each a day and that's before it's waters down. They drink milky hot choc, cold milk and 2 lots of cereal a day (they ALWAYS have some immediately before bedtime too!) so I reckon they have more than most sprogs.
If I didnt water it down I would have to increase my purchase of milk to 7x 4 pints a week instead of 3 to 4x 4 pint bottles a week!
In addition they have loads of green veg, eggs etc in their diet so they have calcium intake from lots of non dairy sources too.
Cheers though:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A
