Well I am back with the thread and all upto date...won't mention the fact that I missed the entire 'olympic' thread:eek::eek:
But I do have an excuse....I have been very tired as I am going to have another baby:j:j I am due 8th Feb so there will be 16 months between my 2. The positive is that means I only have to go back to work for 4 months and then I'll be having another year off
I have dipped in and out a couple of times, I managed a few of the Bavaria with the mags I could find so OH was very happy! Thank you to the OP for the DTD kids sticker books, managed to get 3 the other day to get me upto a conditional spend:) Got 2 orders in for BS on the last day of the glitch so that's 4 xmas pressies sorted:T
Not as good luck with the Heinz, I thought I had saved the voucher yesterday but must have mucked it up so only managed to get the 6 with the coupons I printed immediately...oh well I might have to get OH to do it on his fb and just make a few trips to stock up this week!!
I have missed you lot! Really enjoyed catching up till 1.30am this morn and seeing what everyone has been upto!:)
Welcome back ruxpin0 -

I lurk on this thread but as I am cr4p at supermarket bargain hunting I don't comment, but read and learn from the masters hehe...
Anyway just to say I went to Tesco FB and made a comment or two about the shoddy behaviour given for beanz coupons thread. Grrrhhh!! And grrrhh@ Billie Anne and her fake beard...
:rotfl::rotfl: :rotfl: I was laughing out loud at this :rotfl:
Thanks for your support and for cheering me up :j0 -

The staff in that store require retraining.

keep meaning to reply to you and say chin up- you will soon be as brazen as the rest of us with your vouchers (amazing how soon you can get over a trouting - even a bad one like yours! I had the manager of local store accuse me once of putting 3for2 labels on items:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:oh he did regret that!!!!:D:D:D)

Went into T to do a shop using sum vouchers, which included 2 beanz vouchers. The SA said I have to have these checked as we received a memo saying there's a lot of fakes
She called the supervisor whom took a good 10 mins to come, she then called a manager. He took forever to come also. Then they went through every voucher I had (all10 of them) I only had 2 of each voucher though as I'm way to scared of using more than 2 at a time. By this time everyone was looking at me and complaining about waiting. I was bright red with embarrassment. Someone in the que said where's he got all them from, someone else says what he doing with all them. I felt like I was in a freak show. They then went off and started to look at the CCTV screen (different shots) don't have a clue what that was about. eventually came back and said I couldn't use the beanz one as I had 2 with the same bac code and they said we have to keep these as they are fake. I have never been so embarrassed in all my life. It really was awful. Don't think I will be risking it again. Half an hour later and my ears were still red and burning, but not sure if that was with the embarrassment or fuming.
So sorry for you!
I don't know how they justify keeping the coupons - not even 'Tesco' coupons - declining them is one thing, keeping your property is another and seems unjustified. I wonder how these staff would react if the customer threatens to call the police or inform Heinz that Tesco are taking coupons from their customers without actually providing the product!0 -
