  • Stop it right this minute! You are making me miss cornwall now :(

I usually paddle from marazion around the mount and then across to mousehole, take a few pics and have some chipsand then paddle back again.

Porthcurno is close to the best beach in the world.....Peden vounder....if you can put up with all the old men naked of course. The waves there are just amazing to go and play in.

Theres a nice walk down the cliffs past all the mine workings too, but can't quite recall exactly where it is. Its on the north coast not far from Godrevy lighthouse as I recall. A quick google should find it as its a very popular place.

The power boat rides from padstow are a steal at £5 IMO....specially if the dolphins are about as they bow ride the boats so close you can reach out and touch them! Quite an experience.

For something really different and off the wall is the shhipwreck at Sennen. Yoou have to walk from the town up the path onto the headland then its visible down a teep crack in the cliffs. Its a bit of a scramble to get down but nothing too bad as myself and the kids did it.

Yep we have done Godfrey yesterday, but I'm gonna steer clear of Rick Steinnville, if you don't go early you end up queueing, just to see his name everywhere, might pop over to see the ship wreck wreck today, before going to get my crabs (for tea) :D

Well I am back with the thread and all upto date...won't mention the fact that I missed the entire 'olympic' thread:eek::eek:

But I do have an excuse....I have been very tired as I am going to have another baby:j:j I am due 8th Feb so there will be 16 months between my 2 :o. The positive is that means I only have to go back to work for 4 months and then I'll be having another year off :D

    Congratulations that's great news :j:j

Good morning, or I should say Goodnight, as ive just finished work!

Re the Beanz - am i right in thinking that no one has them for less than 84p now? so free beanz, but no money off the shopping, or pricematch gains?

Coupon scans at 85p so unless you get an "on the ball" SA you might get 1p off your shopping :rotfl:

  • DS found windows office 2010 product keys cards for 1 p (in the plastic security boxes) but they scanned at 0p  :D the sale was automatically cancelled at SS so we were told to go to another till and girl noticed that they went through free but didn't bat an eye we told her the price on the shelf but she said "they're coming up free so here you go!" I put my beans through too so at least I'd have the receipt i case we got stopped. DS needed one of these anyway and I'm happy it didn't cost me anything :rotfl:
Will post pic when I find camera.

I think we had these last year they only charge you full value, when you swipe the magnetic strip through the checkout and then it was £100 odd quid :(

Hate to hear when people have been trouted and embarresed by staff as if the money is coming out of their pockets to pay for it
