The above are £1 in Asda but £1.99 in Tesco. They should therefore technically price match so the 21 wash should effectively be free with a lenor voucher instead of searching for the hard to find 14 wash one!!!

I know a few people on here have Kindles... and also a few liked The Takeaway Secret by Kenny McGovern - well his sequel to the original is available on Kindle for 99p at the moment

Glad you got it sorted!
A free one I've seen recommended if you have any trouble again is Microsoft Security Essentials.
When you are due for renewal I'd personally recommend Kaspersky - I have used it for several years and find it to be very good, not once have I had any issues.
If you do decide on Kaspersky search on offer of the day for it, I've never once paid more than about £14 - I get Kaspersky Internet Security.
Last time I bought the 2011 version even though there was a 2012 version as it was loads cheaper, and you got a free upgrade anyway!
:o:o
Always used to use Kaspersky. In fact ancient PC and DD1s laptop were running that until earlier this year until it ran out. DD1 went for something free but managed to get a trojan on hers which caused loads of problems. Not sure what she using at the moment. And ancient PC gathering cobwebs until I get all the pictures off of it not been turned on for ages.
Think will be going back to Kaspersky for rest of household. Only changed because Mcaffee came as a free trial on DD2s laptop and she let it run out. We wanted to load something by disk and not risk connecting to the internet and it was the cheapest I could find at the time at such short notice. I am not sure why I worried so much about downloading something straight from the net. Think I'm a bit more savvy now.

May be a bit late but thought that you might be interested if you have time/inclination.
Park at St Uny Church at Lelant and walk down the path with the church on your right so that you end up down at The Hayle Estuary. Take the walk along Porthkidney Sands and, if the tide is out, you can walk along the beach right round to Carbis Bay. You can then either continue your walk to St Ives or you can get the train at the station at Carbis Bay back to Lelant Saltings or St Erth.
The Minack Theatre at Porthcurno is spectacular.
Rinsey Cove between Perranuthnoe and Praa Sands is also amazing but is quite difficult to find. It really is well worth it. I suggested this to a keen photographer friend of mine and she was totally made up with the stunning scenery.
Take the train from either St Erth or Lelant Saltings to go to St. Ives. Sit on the right-hand side on the way there. (or the other side from St. Ives) It really is a short train ride but the scenery is fabulous.
If you go for a good coastal walk in the Gwithian direction, then try Sunset Surf Cafe for lunch. They cater for all age groups and not just people surfing. They do some amazing food and the cakes are fabulous. There is a great view too.
The Fire Engine is a brilliant pub with a fantastic view of St Michaels Mount, if you are visiting Marazion. Excellent food (portions were too large!)and very MSE;)
Stop it right this minute! You are making me miss cornwall now
I usually paddle from marazion around the mount and then across to mousehole, take a few pics and have some chipsand then paddle back again.
Porthcurno is close to the best beach in the world.....Peden vounder....if you can put up with all the old men naked of course. The waves there are just amazing to go and play in.
Theres a nice walk down the cliffs past all the mine workings too, but can't quite recall exactly where it is. Its on the north coast not far from Godrevy lighthouse as I recall. A quick google should find it as its a very popular place.
The power boat rides from padstow are a steal at £5 IMO....specially if the dolphins are about as they bow ride the boats so close you can reach out and touch them! Quite an experience.
For something really different and off the wall is the shhipwreck at Sennen. Yoou have to walk from the town up the path onto the headland then its visible down a teep crack in the cliffs. Its a bit of a scramble to get down but nothing too bad as myself and the kids did it.0 -
Morning guys - I got up at 8.30 this morning
and the guy came to start the garden at 8.45, so just in time
I was going to take pics of the [STRIKE]jungle[/STRIKE] garden so I could do before and after sshots, but I forgot
so have taken pics after he cleared all the slabs, etc from small side and had strimmed the shoulder height nettles and mallow plants down to the ground
I will post pics when he has finished
He is currently digging out roots of hawthorn and other small bushes on that small side and will then clear the black poly sheeting from the other side. He is bringing a digger tomorrow to dig it all out
Doggies are not impressed at him being there bark bark bark they think he is stealing our weeds :rotfl: :rotfl:
Oh, DWP put the Bereavement Allowance of £2000 into my bank account today, so I can go ahead and get the new furniture I want for the front room. I currently have a mis-match of cabinets, drawer units and tables bought cheap at the auction over the years and Alan and I discussed getting some proper matching units. I have seen some light oak self-assembly furniture locally at a good price, not top notch solid oak  but nice oak finish. I had seen the exact same furniture on the t'internet, but this is cheaper :money:
If they have time at the weekend
Steve and Andy, under Kit's supervision
have said they will assemble the sideboard-!!!-tv unit so I have decided to empty out the sitting room furniture I have  and put those units in at the auction this Thursday for Saturday's sale. This will make more space for the decorating to be done. When I empty the exiting cabinets, I will sort it out and get rid of some, but will have to find somewhere to store what I am keeping while the decorating is being done   Steve suggested the van, it does come in handy like that but I will have to keep it clear to move stuff to auction first
So it is all go at the 3Dogs' house this week, I just wish Mr 3Dogs was here to enjoy it
Still, I am doing what he wanted, clearing out the house and garden, getting rid of clutter, and getting everything tidy so it is easier for me to maintain
Now that I have 'checked in' I will be catching up from post 1801
