    Afternoon everyone

Slowly getting back into os ways. My mood is improving so baking and things are starting to happen again. Have made a banana loaf and a torte Di limone this week. I'm not normally into cakes but the torte Di limone was nice. Basically lemon cake lol.

Have started double cooking meals ready for quick and easy meals when baby makes an appearance. Also getting hospital bag etc together. Still finding that we are still not convinced we are going to be having a baby lol. Sure it will soon hit us lol.

Baby is still growing well. Think I am carrying a gymnast... Having problems with swollen feet and ankles... Fingers are beginning to feel left out and join in with swelling too... Bp is ok though, slightly raised but nothing too bad. Apart from the spd and what looks like a return of the sickness thanks to heartburn, all is well.

Ds is all gd. Seems to be a bit worried about the baby hurting me but trying to reassure him. He saw my tummy moving the other day and freaked that the baby was eating me to get out.... Now he has realised my belly button is disappearing. Apparently it is going to pop and the baby will come out and then i'll need some of his pink medicine (calpol) to make it better again

Anyway I'm waffling.... Bbird - I'm too fat to enjoy the sun too!

Congrats to all those who got results they wanted and fingers crossed to the gcse's next week.
Monnagran - glad that man felt he has somewhere to go even if it is just for food and drink and a friendly face. Our vicar of our local church is retiring in Dec. We aren't religious bit got married by him and our ds was christened by him. We've also taken ds to the church at Christmas to help decorate etc. He is a lovely man who doesn't push religion on to you at all but instead welcomes anyone in. He recognised us and took time to come and say hello recently at a friend's wedding.

Oops waffling again :o enjoy the sun everyone

:beer:Happy Birthday Tired Mum:beer: Hope you are having a lovely day.

Phew it's soo hot here. Was already 23c when I went to town at 8.30 this morning. Have done lots of washing - too hot for anything else.

Got to drop DD off to work shortly - don't envy her working in a chip shop tonight!

Barbecue for dinner tonight, just OH and myself as DS at a friends - peace and quiet bliss.

    Afternoon all

The sun has finally made an appearance here this afternoon after 5 days of torrential rain! Washing is now on the line drying.

Met my friend for lunch - used a voucher ;), then went for a walk round the shops. I bought a new pair of wellies from asda for £13, they are short bright blue ones so don't give me muffin top on my calves :rotfl:I wear them quite a bit for work at times so nice to have comfy ones. Then I popped to Home Bargains for a few bits.

When I got home I saw my next door neighbour setting off out with her baby in the pram. I stopped to see if she needed a lift (she doesn't drive) and she said she was going for a walk round the lake. So I dropped off the car and went to catch her up. We had a nice 45min walk, and it was nice to get to know her more.

I'm shattered now, had late night and then was awake stupidly early (less than 5hrs sleep!) so may well have a nap on sofa later. Stirfry for tea to use up veg.

    hi everyone

    happy birthday tired mum:bdaycake:
Tru you should enjoy yourself. my mum n dad are having a great time now we've all flown the nest. they love the freedom. and who cares if you spoil yourself every now and then. you deserve it!

Well back from the rescue centre and it was great. We were very busy which was good and I hope weve helped get enough money for the winter food. i'm really tired and sunburnt now but feeling great. its so much nicer spending time outside with animals than been trapped indoors with certain people. I find it very calming. my dad was helping out aswell so we sat and had lunch together and talked. its nice as for a while we never saw each other long enough to actually have a conversation but when we do I love it !:D
    Sorry now im waffling

hope you all had a great day
