Trying for a Baby Part 8

goodvibes - I usually go and see the Nurse Practitioner. She was the one who finally pushed the referral through for me to the gynae when I had problems a while ago. I personally always see a female doctor if I can but then that's personal preference. Is it worth ringing and asking again, see if you get someone more helpful?First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Morning Good vibes - we cross posted.
Personally, I would go by experience as opposed to gender, as the GP I saw after my eptopic admitted that he had not dealt with one before and he looked something I asked up in a textbook.
The nurse at GP surgery was excellent tho (sorry, I know it's not the same thing, but just trying to work off of previous experience).2022 Target - Reduce new mortgage balance after house move - Part 1 (Ported) Starting balance £39,982.12 currently £37,242.19 Part 2 Starting Balance £101,997.88 currently £96,197.38 (as at 19/04/2022)0 -

Thank you guys,
I have met the nurse already there, when I went to get smear done last month. I asked questions then. I told her about ttc, how long ttc, cycles, that I had already had sexual health checks and age.
She was horrid to me told me straight off that I would not get any help for 2 years in a unprofessional way.
I told her if she had listened I was not asking about treatment, but more of a chat and that I was sure I was allowed to ask for blood works and compassion.
I then topped it off by telling her I was a reg nurse. Funny that her manner changed after that LOL.
Very unlikely I would like to see her again. If she was to take my bloods, I would rather do it myself.
I come away very upset. Hence why am worried about the chat I guess0 -

Hi, I had a bit of an experience on Tuesday with my nurse. She is usually really lovely and I have always got on well with my GP surgery (I did only use to go once a year for a pill check mind you!).
However I asked for the mirena to be removed and she started saying well its not been in for long, what other contraception are you going to use etc. I said I was not and that I was TTC. She then said well have you had blood tests etc. I said no and I kind of felt railroaded into having bloods taken and not having my mirena out! I was so ready too
So I have now spoken to my local FPC and the lady was really lovely and said that bloods are taken once you are pregnant and checks all done etc. So now I feel like I have missed out on 10 days of potential BD (although non BD still takes place most days)
Hope you are all going to have a nice day - at least its Friday :T

Birdie –your holiday is sooo close now! Bet you can’t wait. We are looking at goingback to Disney at Easter for a kind of first anniversary trip so might join youin the annual trip tradition! Sorry you missed out this month – me too
Have updated you on the list x
Thanks for the update.I really can't wait for my holiday now, hope September and October fly by as quickly as August did! I'm quite sad that I won't be wearing my fancy bride Minnie ears this time though, was lovely having random people say nice things to us all the time!
I was thinking that I didn't have anything exciting to keep me going 'till November, but I forgot that I'm going to see Lady Gaga next Sunday, that's just a little exciting! :j Going to be a bit of a rush though, it's OH's birthday that day and we're having a party on the Saturday- I have to be out of the house by 9.45 Sunday morning so need to make sure I don't drink too much!
Hugs for the grumps teaandcupcakes
I've got a great feeling for September ladies!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

My last Dr was lovely,
I had a chat about waiting to ttc last year march time. Was having a chat about getting my coil out then and what to use in the mean time. I was with my OH in a LDR at the time, but knew we wanted to be together. Yes some LDR do work and it was right for both of us to get to where we are now.
She would have been happy for me to replace my coil for a year and then to come out when ready.
The sexual health clinic nurse was wonderful and lovely here when I got my coil out and was exicted for me ttc. She did the extra checks, full bloods and swabs to check I was healthly down there.
Compassion and unstanding does get lost sometimes. I pride myself in the fact I can give that and teach others about it too in my job.0 -
Good Vibes, what was the removal like....I'm a little anxious over that bit!0
