Vic - Thats encouraging if the blood tests are normal. I came off the pill 14 months ago too and my cycles are still all over the place - most frustrating. Are you temping as well as OPKs? OPKs don't suit everyone thats all. Sometimes they don't pick up the surge as the surge can be a small window in some people so if you only do them once a day you could miss it. In my case I kept on getting loads of positives, so I think I need a higher sensitivity. I'm meant to be temping again this month, but I keep forgetting to do it when I wake up :o

Yes, i'm (trying to) temping too. Not really sure what it all means at the moment. I've only missed one day and had to discard yesterday's as I was desperate for the loo!
Once I get a stronger line, i'll do a few in a day.

I had a definite surge on CD26 last month. The test line popped up immediately and was much stronger than the control line.

    Hey ladies

Maire I'm trying the same approach this month - altho I have got some opks in as I'm sure I wont be able to help myself.

I'm still very unsure about my luteal phase - seems to be 10 days and has been for past 4 months at least - not convinced this is long enough. That combined with late ovulation is making me more worried!! If nothing has happened then a visit to docs in the new year is in order.

    Hugs to all xxx

PS I'm with you code - children past the age of 10 are not my favourite either!!

Hey Elsie, my last luteal phase was only 8 days :( It looks like it will be that way again this month.

can I make a confession? I don't even like newborn babies. They're boring! I like them from about 9 months and then stop liking them again when they're about 10.

goes off to join the desperate to have a baby even if I don't even like them and thus crazier than abis corner.

My confession is I can't stand being pregnant. I feel ill right from the off. With my last pregnancy I started getting SPD symptoms at 9 weeks. I can't think about it too much or I'll talk myself out of ttc, but I have absolutely no idea how anyone manages a toddler and a difficult pregnancy. I've told DH that my mother will have to move in, he thinks I'm joking ...

Thank you for doing the lust. Yes I would like to stay on the list please.

Happy to provide lust - we can all do with that these days. ;)

I just couldn't find you... so I wasn't sure if you'd asked to be removed.

Code - When you have your own baby, I'm sure you will love it as a newborn and be amazing at the lickle faces it pulls, and when it grasps your fingers, and the little chuckles it does. We'll just skip past the smelly poos and keeping you up in the night for now... The jury is out for me tho on 10 year olds +. Will let you know in 3.5 years :p

Newborns are a little strange. They don't seem fully human yet! But I would love to have one, although I imagine it's pretty scary when you get home with tiny fragile thing that is so dependent on you.
    Hi ladies,

Sorry everyone is having such a pants month :( hugs to all who need them.

    I am on DPO7thanks Abis.

    .

    I've been Money Tipped!
Abis, I feel better thanks. There are a lot of things up in the air at the moment (moving house, job stress, ttc tests etc) & it's making me feel very unsettled. Feeling a bit crazy too! Thanks for asking xx

Elsie, fingers crossed you won't need to be making the docs appt in the new year ;)

Leopardlady - No ss :naughty: Mmmmm, christmas cake! More drool, lol! I had grapes. Normally I like grapes, but eating grapes while DH was eating chocs was just not the same :o

Courgette - I think that makes sense. I think the first 12 weeks are gonna be scary in future :o It'd be nice to be a few weeks in before I 'noticed' I was pregnant. Kind of not gonna happen with me tho cos I'm still addicted to POAS :rotfl: I had a fab pregnancy with DD, but it was awful last time - am hoping that was just down to the molar aspect and I am going to have a lovely pregnancy next time ;)

Are you using fertility friend Vic? It should put cross hairs on when you have ovulated...

T2D - Thanks for doing the lists - much appreciated.

Becca - Not surprised with all those things going on! Did you have bloods done too at the docs the other day?

Tinks - Worth a test in the morning? MrsJ caught on straight away, you might be lucky too? Fingers crossed xx
 Married my lobster in July 2011

TTC # 2 since Oct 2011 - good things come to those who wait :o

 2013 is going to be our lucky year
  • Thanks for adding me to the list T2D. Can't believe I'm CD5 already.

    Loving the hair MV.

My home Internet has been down all weekend so I'm typing off cruddy home Internet. Had some cuddles with a tiny baby today and she felt so light compared to my DD. and I'd forgotten how to hold a baby. Slightly worrying!

Sticky baby dust to all x

Even though it's only CD9, I seem to have heaps of EWCM. So either two days of soy, and/or the acupuncture, and/or the tablets is doing something.

Pity this month I'm not allowed to BD! Which is going to be quite hard actually - more for me than DH, I don't think we have enough s3x now, so a month off will be difficult. Especially as we are off on holiday in a couple of weeks. sigh..
