    Termination for medical reasons :(

(((Hugs))) to you scooby. I know it isn't the same, but my friend had a termination a little while ago and I know it's a horrible thing to go through, but must be so hard when it's a longed for child.

No can do. It's at home in Kent, I'm at my desk in London.

Hugs for AF/Chemical RazWaz :( How does your OH feel about using a donor? Having a think about the what-ifs I'm trying to figure out how we'd feel about having a baby that isn't biologically my OH's, not that I've said anything to him yet, this is all in my head for now. :o I suppose the plus side would be that there's no risk of him passing down his Dad's enormous nose and ginger hair, thankfully OH has neither but I'm aware that they're in his gene pool! ;)

I think it helps that he was never really fussed about kids before me, and he's sort of going along with it cause I want it. Plus both his sisters got pregnant very very young and he helped to raise his nephew and niece, so he's already very comfortable in the 'Fatherly uncle' role.

There is also the very nasty heart defect that runs in his side of the family that we'd be avoiding which helps make the decision a little easier.

RazWaz, there's a maximum age for funding for men too?
That's what I read when I was looking for information last year, I might have misremembered though. Even so, I'm under the minimum age limit myself, and could only ever get funding for one child (I've always wanted a big family, 4-6 kids) so we would just end up turning to a donor in the future anyway.

I'm not sure I could wait another 10 months before even getting a referral, I've been desperately wanting a baby for 5 years now already. I know I'm young but something set of my broodyness in my early teens and it just seems to get stronger every year.

COMP - get your priorities sorted... leave work, go home, take a photo, upload it... job done :rotfl:

I bet it's hard to concentrate at work today! Are you going to do a digi tomorrow?

Thanks COMP, it was an awful thing I'd never dreamed I'd have to go through (I'm 40 and not getting any younger) but you have to move on and try again:)
