DS seems better this am, but my god he had a rough night. Poor little boy was retching most of the night. He so wanted to sleep, but kept being woken up by it

AFM my temperature is well low this morning! looking at past charts it seems to get very low just before Ov so fingers crossed. told DH it was suprisingly low this morning and he went 'but it's winter, brrrr' lol but it can't be that cos i actually felt really hot, mainly cos Mr Furnace was resting his butt against mine!
things that annoy me about/whilst temping:
-my alarm wakes up Mr Furnace and he decides to cuddle up so i worry he's warming me up
-i reallllllly need a wee when i wake up but have to wait the lifetime it seems to take for the thermometer to get to the right temperature
-the cat decides to headbutt the thermometer so it scrapes against my teeth

We have a cat too lemon, and she was poorly earlier in the year quite badly Shes all fixed now tho thank goodness! Don't think we are going to get any more guinea pigs. They were a pair, and the first one died about a year ago - again really sudden, ok one day and found him dead the next day. My DD was devestated about that one and he was 'mine' so I am really not looking forward to telling her about Tarquin dying I won't see her til monday now as well, so its not nice having that hanging over us still to tell her, but then its not fair to ring her at her dads and have him deal with her being all upset. We decorated a box for the last guinea tho and wrote some lovely messages for him, so we will do the same with this one and bury it nearby. You don't really realise how attached you get to the pets sometimes. I kept crying last night n then couldn't sleep

MV - hugs for you and poorly DS. Its awful when they are so poorly and theres nothing you can do about it There seems to be a lot of sickness bugs going around this year I think Hope you both manage some rest today and that DS is all better now.

QQ - Yes, did a HPT yesterday and it was bright white Have been doing them every other day for a couple of weeks now (sometimes daily). Had a couple of evap lines on some - but nothing pink there. Just have no idea what is happening this month

Hope - looks like a BFP to me

I'm due to ovalate today (not testing anymore on hubbys request) but had pain in my side yesterday that I always get day before positive ov test. Managed to BD last night, didn't mention why I wanted to so much! So fingers crossed.

QQuaver - I think you might be right about me not being right about my ovulation day- I think DH might need to put a thermometer and chart in my christmas stocking this year! I'm on day 16 at the moment and have been bding lots this week - I'll try keeping the momentum going this next week and see how that goes!

We've been NTNP since October 2011 and was going to start TTC in the New Year, but really I've kind of already started so I guess my TTC date is 06/11/2012

Firefly sorry i just realised i forgot to answer your questions! Yes, metformin has made a massive impact to my cycles

a few years back i didn't have a cycle at all, got put on metformin 2x500mg then it was exactly 35 days and conceived unfortunately miscarried (metformin does reduce the risk of miscarriage but i'd stopped taking it )
cycles when haywire again after miscarriage so dose was increased and that got me ovulating again last cycle being anovulatory *i hope* was a fluke due to the major stress around Ov time

gaawd found a big glop of EWCM this morning and now all i think of is getting home and making the most of it hurry up today! x x

Obviously everyone is different, but I sometimes put the thermometer in my mouth and have a wee while taking the temp:p In fact, I've done OPKs while taking my temps and peeing:cool:
