  • I have an abundance of EWCM so that's a good sign I guess?

Will DTD this evening I think anyway and just keep on for the next few days. I've kind of written this month off mentally anyway as I'm sure my body could do with a rest.

Firefly - no I didn't bother going to see the DR after I was told on the phone by a GP that it was probably my age that was causing me issues..very comforting!

Sorry you are feeling so rubbish tea. Forgive my ignorance but what does ICSI involve? Is it a form of IVF?

QQ i'm going to give it a guess this month of 8 i reckons, and i only guess in months where i might get one so fingers crossed eh :D

tea lover big dodgy hugs, hopefully the clomid will be worth it <3

Firefly yay for a plan :) having a plan is always good, just a shame it's never the 'get pregnant tomorrow' plan we all are desperate for :o

Hugs for those with ovulation worries, i share your pain! this cycle seems to be going better than last, getting bits of EWCM, which from the cycles i did Ov it seems to be i get more and more over the space of around ten days so maybe this even means i'll Ov early, wouldn't that be an early christmas miracle :)

also cheered myself up thinking that i've got this cycle and the next before 25 December so i've got two more chances for the best present ever....and then just realised that i calculated wrong. clearly i think there's a special magical month in between november and december lol
still, one more chance and it only takes one egg (if one ever gets out lol) x x

Can I predict 8 this month please QQ?
Come on little TTC fairy, there are so many people on here that deserve a little bundle of joy!

Well defintely won't have a Halloween conceived baby, OH came in from work and promtly fell asleep. I don't see the point in going to the cinema with him tonight, all he will do is fall asleep lazy sod.
We didn't get any trick or treaters last night, glad we didn't though (not in a horrible way) as we didn't have anything at all sweetie wise in the house. My cupboards are bare. So unless they fancied a cup of rice. Love halloween though!

Does anyone know if having a CP (or two in a row in my case) can cause you to not ov the following month?
Never heard that, but I suppose it can happen, but if you have ewcm, it sounds like you are fertile:cool:

Difference between IVF and ICSI is that in IVF one sprinkles the sperm onto the egg, while in ICSI, they inject the best looking sperm directly into the egg.

I went to my follow up appointment at the FS yesterday. He has perscribed metformin and added me to the IVF waiting list because it is 2 years at the Royal Infirmary in Glasgow:eek:. I have been told to lose weight and have the hsg test in the mean time. I have to repeat the 21 day test again because although my last one showed ovulation the results were a bit on the low side. If the situation doesn't improve by March he is going to put me on Clomid.
    2 year waiting list?
    I bet you'll get pg before that:D

I don't think I'm cut out for ICSI as I clearly can't even handle clomid. Have been a complete wreck this week and I've still got another day of it to go. The thought of having to take even stronger hormones/medication is really scaring me. I feel like I have no control over myself.
    (((Hugs))).
Yes I won't lie to you, the meds for ICSI/IVFs are much stronger. It can make you more hormonal:(

But getting pg does the same thing too:o

I suppose people are more cautious these days, no trick or treaters around here for years:o

You could aim for a Bonfire Baby instead Vesper! :D
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!
