hope you are all well today, fingers crossed for those testing!

im ever so impatiently waiting, ive got a few more days to go before i could feasibly test, so ill try and be patient and throw in a few extra BDs for luck (or just for fun).

I need a slap as I've just poas (bfn) couldn't help myself as some I'd ordered came through post.

They are the internet cheap ones, that you can test early with, so I'm guessing that tho its early to test, it would've shown at least a faint positive at this stage if I was pregnant.....so guessing its fairly unlikely I'm going to get a BFP again this month :-(

Hi loulou. ICs were still giving me BFNs a week after a clearblue digi gave me a BFP. (they were there in the cupboard and needed using up :o) So I wouldn't rely on them - certainly don't take them as proof you're not pg until AF turns up.

I'll go back to lurking now :p

Well knock me down with a feather, OH actually spoke to the doctor about his SA! He's got a little pot and is waiting for a phone call to confirm when he actually has to drop off the sample. He's been warned off BD until he finds out when he has to drop the sample off, don't want to do it tonight to find out that they want it on Thursday! And of course, because he's not allowed to DTD that's all he wants now! :rotfl:

He also said that the doctor told him that it's quite normal to TTC for 2 years, glad I didn't go to him originally, I'd have cried all over him about not wanting to wait that long! :o

My ear is okay today, good or bad sign re pregnancy? :rotfl:

I was 10+4 when I mc'd but what I know now and didn't know then was that some mcs are worse than others. With my first I was 7 weeks and although it was twins (and except for when I passed the sack which felt weird) it really wasn't that huge an event. Of course I was very sad but I was able to be quite philosophical about it. I don't want to downplay that mc - of course I wished it hadn't have happened and of course I still think about what might have been.

This last one though was just terrible. There was absolutely nothing to suggest anything was wrong up until the point I started bleeding. I was so unwell afterwards too - physically and emotionally and am still not right.

It's been suggested already that I have some counselling but I don't really like the idea of having to wait 6 weeks or whatever then having to find childcare etc. I'd rather sign up for an exercise class or arrange to meet a friend or whatever. That said, I don't know if this is starting to drag on a bit now. I'm fine lots of the time but I still have periods where I find it very difficult to cope and get really stressed out by stuff and I wonder whether that's depression.

The problem i have found with the medical profession is they tend to view 1st tri mc as a bit of a non-event and I don't want to put myself in line for any of their hurtful comments again. Seriously, if someone came to you whose husband had just been killed in the last few hours you wouldn't say to them that you knew someone who had had two husbands killed so you should be grateful would you!

Sorry, keep blurting these things out :o

So next question. Before mc my cycles were 28 days. First cycle was either 31 if you count from when I lost most of the tissue or 28 if you count from the day that I suddenly passed the baby after being told by the EPU that my womb was empty (!!!!!!! ), next cycle was 24 with a fairly light loss and I'm currently on CD25. So do I wait until at least Friday to test or do I have a go tomorrow? My fear is picking up an early loss which right now I think would finish me off but if I did that would be mc#3 which might make me medically interesting, or doesn't a very early loss count. You see it has occured to me that one of the reasons why I feel like a woman on the edge and so knackered could be that I'm re-upduffed and not that I'm actually going mad. I had such strong ov pains this month too that I know we definitely caught it so it's not impossible. I just don't know what to do for the best
