What foods would you pick?

If for whatever reason you could onlypick 5 foodstuffs to live off for the next 2 weeks what 5 things would you pick? (you would be allowed the amount required of each foodstuff)

You have NOTHING in the house to add although water and milk don't count

Hmmmmm

    Brown Rice
    Mixed beans
    Bacon
    apples
    Cheese

    From this I could make

Risotto (3 types, bean, bacon or cheese)
    Rice and beans
    Apple rice pudding
    Cheese and Apple snacks

and still be reasonably healthy at the end of the two weeks :D

I'd probably go for protein shakes. Is that cheating? And tea and milk. And vitamin chews. Lol

Could do with losing a few pounds.

:) Bread, eggs, carrots, potatoes and onions. I can cook a lot of different stuff with that lot. But I'd like to sneak in teabags and chocolate, too, Miss.

Potatoes, eggs, baked beans, cheese, bread.

Egg/chips/beans, omelettes/chips/beans, spanish omeletttes, egg/soldiers, eggy bread, cheese on toast, beans on toast, jacket spud and cheese/beans, fried egg sandwich, scrambled egg and beans on toast, cheese toasted sandwiches, cheese/beans toasted sandwich, poached egg on toast/beans, mash and beans, cheese/potato pie and beans, cheesy mash, potato cakes.

It'd be tricky without any fat/oil, but I'd cope.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Apples, eggs. Tbh, i could live off those if i could have milk and water too.

Because not everyone in my family could i would find the addition of cheese, a carb...i have dithered over this but think a decent bread would be the choice here, though as dh points out there is sufficient of each type he would request that a third of the bread is a milk loaf/ chollah or brioche, a third is bagutte and another third either sour fough, a really goid whole meal or a northern italian bread and having checked with dh, coffee. I am not even going to pretend its balanced.

Bread, eggs, cheese, tomatoes and baked beans. I'd probably be licking out the bottom of the larder for something sweet by the end of the week though. Can I go out to the local cafe for a cup of tea and steal their sugar too?

    Noooooo no extras!

Although I'm finding it difficult to pick myself!

I'm thinking some sort of cereal, although guess bread would suffice for breakfast if necessary

Either rice or pasta....I prefer pasta

Possibly tomatoes. (can be eaten on bread, cooked on toast, problem I have is plain tomato with pasta wouldn't be very appetising)

Cheese. And eggs. Can make tomato omelette. French toast.

I think it would be a struggle to make it healthy.
