check your ISA has been transferred properly. Last year I asked Abbey to transfer two ISAs from another another building society and when I got the thank you letters assumed it had been done. It wasnt until I got a statement from the other Building Society this year that I found the accounts were still there. elizw

There was much press coverage about this type of problem from Abbey.
Did Abbey compensate you for earning lower interest, if applicable?0 -
not so far it was hard to even get a letter of apology apparently will be writing to me again0
