Moving my phone/ broadband socket from upstairs

Hi there
Our existing broadband phone line comes into the house through the windows upstairs for some reason but we need to move it because we are adding secondary glazing to all the windows
Orange want to charge us £105 to move the cable elsewhere (downstairs probably)
Is there a cheaper alternative to that?

The black drop cable needs to be removed from the Master socket, making note of the colors (usually yellow and white) and how they are connected to terminals A and B.
Assuming the drop cable is long enough, you can reinstall the Master socket anywhere you want.
You are not supposed to do it yourself, of course.0 -
I'll do it for £80 if your close...Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0
