Don't do it!!!!!!! Save the money then buy it, by the time you have a couple of grand you won't want a car. You can't live in a car. (I am an ex-petrol head so I understand the draw).

OH had an S4 (identical car underneath, just the estate version) before the 535d, and it was the perfect car!

S5 Cabrio is what I'd go for if I didn't have kids!

Might be might not, there is a 25yr old on PH who has just bought himself a ferrari and a few weeks back had a nissan gtr! until a hailstorm made the bodywork look like a golfball.

Do check the insurance prices as well -- that will add 1000's per year to the costs.
