Following a free trial of both these products I noticed that further payments had been taken for these two companies, even though only a single trial pack of each had been sent.

Barclaycard insist I must have set up auto delivery for both of these items, I know I have not done so knowingly and there is no paper trail for this at all.

I have now stopped any further payments but please be aware of this.

I noticed on another site that someone else has also been caught out by this - I will probably never get my money back but as long as I don;t have to pay any more I will be relieved.

Deadsea have responded to my email to cancel but all emails to addresses I have for Rejuvenex are returned undeliverable

As you say, you are not alone.

    This thread may help you.
  • Hi - thanks firstly to all the other posts regarding this kit, the advice has helped me a lot. I have contacted my bank (Halifax debit card disputes) regarding this and they had this to say. Once the situation is reported to them, whilst they cannot stop the company taking the money, they will refund it to my account immediately. They also said that cancelling my card would not neccessarily work, so this was not the road to go down. I have also contacted the company and cancelled my subscription (don't hold out much hope there), and will return the kit when I receive it. Thanks again, I was beginning to despair a bit.
  • I have had the same problem. Firstly the advertising is set out to fool people to think they are paying £3.95. They took £57 out of my account and to add insult to injury after I emailed them and they gave me a long tall sally reply they confirmed via email they would cancel the Re-fill(first I heard of refill), this has now come through my door on Friday and they have taken another £44 of my credit card. These people seriously need to be stopped, they are not trustworthy and should not be trading at all. I see on the Companies house they have been in liquadation a few times but just start up another company. Anybody with any legal advise out there if we all stand together and take them on. FRAUD IS FRAUD no matter which way you look at it. There is laws against fooling the public through advertising.

    Sandy, welcome to the forum.

Have you read the thread linked to in post #2?

You can look at it which way you like, but the bare facts are you signed up to an ongoing subscription.

I fully believe you may not have realised that at the time, but the reality is you ticked a box saying that you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions.

    See this post.

Other posts on that thread may give you ideas on how to get your money back, or at least, stop you losing any more.
  • I saw them on face book asking so many people to take up an offer to experiment this cream for a womens magizine and it would only cost postage a packaging,ha.I payed and recieved the items, with no further details,as they said to use it for 14 days, take a photo before and after. How could I experiment this product, and also send it back within 14 days,I could not.I wanted to contact them to find out the details, when I tryed some man in Isral said the person you need to speak to is not here, and he did not understand what I was asking,so he would get the man to contact me as soon as he came in.He did not,so I got on to my bank and managed to stop any further payments to them.Thank god, since I have read they are a scam.I have the cream if they want it,they can take me to court,I will be happy with that.:rotfl:
  • What can I say but Thank You so much for posting about this on here - I was targetted with one of the special offers today with the offer of only paying for the postage !!! - After a quick search on Google this page on MSE popped up warning me off. I know it does not help anyone already conned by these people BUT thanks to your warnings this is one woman who has had a lucky escape. :A
  • I called them and when a girl asked me politely "How are you" I told her !!

She said I could keep the product and they won't send anymore or bill anymore.

I agreee they need to be stopped. But they are doing nothing Illegal.
It is clear in the T/C. (Scroll to the bottom of the main page) which is just the same as any other company on the internet.
It is then clear in there about auto-refill.
As well as you tick you agree to T/C when you enter your card details. It is also in the emails they send out (check spam/junk folder)

I do wonder how many people ever check junk//spam folders.... Plenty of genuine emails end up in there.....

How can it be fraud if you gave them your card details, and they make it clear what they are going to do.

like many people i am a victim of rejuvenex but i returned all items sent to me and am still waiting for a refund i probably wont get.my bank will not reimburse me for the money, yet other people who have a halifax debit card are receiving reimbursments,so im out of pocket £94.94.i also know a few other people who have been victims of these people who have cancelled all memberships with this company and the company are totally ignoring the cancelations and carrying on sending these creams, and some have had money taken from there accounts and not received anything,as of yet i know that none of these people have received there money back,in my book this is called theft..on contacting my bank i was told they can do nothing to help and that this company can carry on taking funds from my account, despite me cancelling any memberships

If you have cancelled and they debit you and send stuff.
    You.
A claim the money back for the bank Cancelled CPA.
    B. Do what you like with the stuff they send. If they fail to take notice of cancellation, then that is their loss. Just, if you send it back. DO NOT PAY THE POSTAGE....

Halifax wont refund you as it is upto the retailer to refund. The only option they would have to claim it back is if the goods were faulty, and you have proof of return.
Other people getting refunds, maybe due to other reasons.
    Such as...
    They have already cancelled.
They did not recieve the goods.

If they take further funds then all you do is contact Halifax and get a refund straight back to your account.
    Simplies :)
