I know the title may shock some people but I actually had a good experience of yodel.
Ordered something from sportsdirect website sat eve about 5 pm, got a little worried when I tracked the item to find yodel we're due to deliver it, Monday came I kept watching
Item status from at dept, then out for delivery and then at. 6 pm yodel turn up with item. One working day after ordering it... Guesss I am that lucky customer they have!

Blimey..that must be the first bit of good news I've read about Yodel's delivery service!
Sadly, my experience is a little less positive. I bought some saucepans on ebay 3 weeks ago. Seller sent them two days later - supposed to turn up on Tuesday last week at the latest. No sign of them by Tuesday this week so seller refunded me. Yodel told us that they had lost the parcel, so sent the seller a claim form.
Parcel actually turned up yesterday - a full two weeks after they were posted!
I shall never use them and will urge others to do the same!0 -
Your username tends to suggest otherwise. As does the fact that you didn't notice the discrepancy.
I'd make a joke about Yodel, but you probably wouldn't get it.
As I've said elsewhere, when I buy items by mail order, I now ask the seller who they intend to use to deliver them. If they say Yodel, I ask them to use someone else. If they can't or won't, I cancel the order, go elsewhere and will never do business with that seller again.
One sellier said that they would use someone else, and the item then arrived - eventually - by Yodel. I refused the parcel. I will not do business with Yodel, even indirectly. I rang the supplier and verbally tore their head off. I will never do business with that supplier again.
If a firm uses Yodel, they cannot, by definition, care for their customers.
And firms should remember that they are "jointly and severally liable" for their agents.
The sooner Yodel are out of business, the better it will be for everyone, and the better it will be for the economy. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -

Their deliveries are always on time and their staff very efficient and friendly, unlike other delivery firms. Of course, there may have been some teething troubles some time ago, but these are now resolved and the service is now the best out there.
I would recommend them to anyone. And before anyone says so, I do not work for them I am just a very satisfied customer lol!
You sign yourself as 'Yodel Employee' yet you claim to be a satisfied customer??0 -

He's a troll, ignre him. Yodel is nothing but a joke!0 -
Actually, if you read my previous posts on this company and other couriers, I've been quick to criticise. BUT we have a new driver in my area, and fair play, he's been absolutely brilliant
So credit where credit is due

I think for the sake of balance, this thread should be deleted.
This is on the basis of Yodel sending solicitors letters to forums to delete uncomplimentary posts about them.
It would be Karma0 -
Must say, they surprised me yesterday. Got a card through the door at work with only a contact number on it. I was expecting a delivery unfortunately, so thought my goose had been cooked.
Phoned with no reply, so expected the usual carp to collect my order. 4:30, the door bell rang and my colleague was actually greeted by someone with a brain cell. Had been evening before with a couple of different orders and realised that he better try again in office hours next day! Result, 2 very happy girls in the office, and alot of humble pie being eaten by me as I genuinely thought I would be stressing to get my parcel before I go away.A smile costs little but creates much0 -

Do they? :O
I'm sorry but if you provide bad service you have to expect people will be unhappy and voice their opinions!
Naughty Yodel, they're obviously spending a lot of their budget on pulling bad things off the internet and not putting it into their depos/transport/drivers.0 -
hi, just for clarity, i have never used or had yodel used on me before, i have never received a solicitor letter or anything like that nor have i ever worked for yodel or any company even remotely connected to it!
This is genuine praise for a great service that i received0
