    Would he actually use the Kenwood Chef or is he just being spiteful?

    It would be a pity if it developed a fault - had to be posted back for repair and got lost in the post! I like tru's suggestion of "storing" stuff quietly.

    You may have to adopt the type of tactics that "abused wives" do - smuggling stuff out bit by bit to friends to store for you. It may be a case of "out of sight out of mind" as far as he is concerned.

    Assume he will try to get anything that matters to you out of spite and "rehouse it" or else get upset that it is "faulty" and then he will not claim it.

    It sounds as if his true colours are showing through!

    Just going out to York as DD needs euros for a school trip to Italy and I need to get a few bits and pieces for her.

    PAM, HE IS ADORABLE, GLAD YOU RESCUED HIM, WHY ARE PEOPLE SO HORRIBLE. MY AUNT RSCUED A dALMATION, SHE WAS KEPT TIED UP IN A BACK YARD, SHE WAS SO THI AND TERRIFIED WHEN THEY GOT HER, NOW SHE IS WELL LOVED AND FED AND SHE IS MAKING FRIENDS WITH EVERYONE... I WILL FIND A PHOTO OF HER.. THEY RENAMED HER pURDIE !!!!!!

    :lovethoug Oh that's done it! I have just got to get another doggy! We have been talking about it since Anna died (2 yrs ago) they do leave a huge gap in your lives! Would love a rescue dog but they might consider me unsuitable as I have ME/CFS:o Puppies cost so much these days! Off to check out the doggy sites! :D

    Had a really bad night, so tired but couldn't sleep - got off about 5am, up again at 10.30am.
