hiya,
I've found about 1700 bulgarian Lev from a previous trip.I was there in 2009 I think at that stage you were getting 50 to the pound?? I've since looked up the exchange rate and see that it's changed radically since I've been..I think the Lev has been devalued..Can I still exchange it?
Thanks,
yogi

If it is not current currency you can only change it an a bulgarian bank.
If it is current try a FX0 -
You can still exchange it, as it is current currency, but only at the current exchange rate, you can't go back to the 2009 rate.0

What denomination notes do you have? The 1000 notes are now invalid and worthless.0

hiya,
I've got a 1000 note, and the rest in 100's and 50's, I take it that the non 1000's are still valid?
Thanks0 -

An old 1000 Bulgarian Lev note is the equivalent of 1 new Bulgarian Lev (around 40p)! The other denominations may be valid, but in monetary terms they wouldnt be worth much!0 -
